Totally agree.

I'm with Zachias -- we need to have more events at Roseland and boy do I miss Roxy and Arc.

They sucked at Bed last time i saw them, after that night i will never see them again.

I think half of the people in that building knew what was going on last night, or knew the concept of THE superstar DJ... I saw so many birthday parties and stupid little kids, and in all honesty, an 18+ crowd at Pacha is ALWAYS worse than the 18+ crowds that went to Crobar. I really feel no vibe there anymore, and it's not the 18+ thing, like I said, I had all my best times at Crobar for Ferry parties and Armin events and what not, all 18+; the crowds at those just seemed to actually have some sort of clue what was going on, Pacha just has become THE spot to go indiscriminately after getting bombed in the pregame on the car-ride down from Westchester. It reminds me of Avalon's crowd toward its later months... but whatever gets them money, I'm sure they don't care.

I totally disagree about the 18+ crowds at Pacha compared to Crobar. Crobar's 18+ crowds have always been far worse in my eyes.

i have totally different sentiments from most of you.

that was one of the top nights out i've had.

jason in killed it as usual and G&D surprised me by playing some omfg tech house mixed with a bit of trance/prog for the entire night (which is what i was hoping for)

very very very good night.

Oh i saw you in the DJ booth too. I am so busy with just living, traveling and diving that i'm as far from music scene as it can get. WMC will fill me in with new trends.

Unfortunately, in New York, every DJ that comes here is playing tech-house, so it's not even a matter of being surprised anymore, but like a laundry-list of songs or producers we have to expect to hear EVERY single DJ play EVERY single week, whether top 50 DJ or local DJ... basically, G&D's set last night reminded me of an opening set Serge Devant would play for Ferry Corsten... as an opening set, I'd say it's amazing, but as a headlining set, there was so much it was lacking in, on all levels... and i never noticed until last night they used TWO laptops, not sure what they were doing but their lack of any effort or task in DJing seemed to kind of downplay the excitement, sweat, and passion most other DJs put into their craft... i know it's a popular topic ("laptop DJing sucks!!!!!") but at least be creative with it, I heard no manipulation of any songs, except for once around 3:30, their set was just wholely disappointing last night

I understand. I guess it was just my first whole live tech-house set since I've seriously gotten into it (plus the alcohol :P)
From what I saw, it did look like they had a bunch of tracks and samples edited in ableton. One I really liked were the vocals over Arcadia.

One of 21, 22, 24, or 25 was Lifelike - Adventure.

Likelike and Kris Menace are easily my favorite producers. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
