honestly here (the cor) its more of a running joke to bash noobs than anything, we'll bash anyone who's asking for it (see: googooly, he's been here quite some time but it didn't let up when he stopped being a noob)
while you find irony in mr. mystery's post, i find even greater irony in the tone of your latest post: while you're trying to accuse other people of arrogance and elitism, the entire thing reads that you think all these people who you haven't really identified are worse than you, and you're better because you're not doing it.
again...this is a community, treat it as such. imagine the high school lunch table circuit. if all of a sudden you just sit down at a table with a bunch of kids, you're probably not going to 'fit in' right away. you may get along with them, you may not, but nonetheless they have their customs and inside jokes which you're probably not aware of. so within this table/community, its look on as weird to do things against said customs, and annoying to have to explain where their jokes are coming from. you may think they're not funny, or their customs aren't right.
(here's my point right here): so what do you do in that case, if you disagree with something someone's saying or doing?

yea wat a crock of , this isnt the ing schoolyard its a forum. we're not trying to make friends i dont care wat kind of a community it is, its about saying your opinion if u have a different opinion it i dont care, ill tell u why i disagree and u may hate me for it but dont be ignorant enough to label somebody as "moronic" or watever other bull you've been saying about somebody (me) u know next to nothing about.
as for "the irony" i can pretty much accept that not everybody likes trance or asot lists or watever but i dont try and act better than somebody based on my taste in music, which is exactly wat they do. i dont go around with immature insults, then call other people the immature ones and claim that i am not exactly that. i dont assume that anybody who likes prog trance is a "n00b" and im not stupid enough to think that age automatically makes somebody smarter or more mature than somebody. if these guys really were smart and mature and gods gift to man :stongue: like they claim they'd be above all that but they clearly arent which just contradicts everything that they say about these so called "n00bs".
as for names, they;re not people in the "cor" they 're people who seem to think they are the gods of the music discussion section. jive jo bingles, mr mystery, i cant remember all their names but they speak for themselves, i dont need to name them because they know exactly who they are but they arent any of the "cor" regulars if u need to know that much and im not referring to all people who have been on these forums in a while. if i had to name these people all the time id be here forever so that part of your argument is just pointless. as is all of this.
now try not to make assumptions in the responses to this post and actually use something credible if any of u "elitists" ( naming u all) can be ed arguing anymore ;). i cant though... |
