i start a new forum "life cycle" every few years or so.
and its funny when u join a new forum, and your only new to it.
but as a forum goer, i may have more forum experience than the people there.
yes i am a nerd for that, but i think i spend less time doing this than most. |

Observations are just that, looking, making threads like this for your own entertainment though is more or less just asking to be kicked, add to that you consider the older members 'prodded' so to speak and if you prod someone enough and they turn around and unleash on you with something vicous or hatefull...
You dont find it very entertaining then youve more or less just decided to stick something sensitive in a door jam and slammed the door, for entertainment purposes and found that the experience wasnt entertaining and usually painfull.
Its the internet... no one cares! Which is both all the amusement you'll ever need and at the same time all thats bloody wrong with it. |
Everyone's main motivation is selfish whether they're creating a thread or anything else. My secondary goal in making this thread is to entertain and engage other TA's in a positive way, even if that means opening myself up to criticism.

I think you're hot Frenchie, but why would you care if other members are still engaged in a particular discussion? And why would you make a post stating it which only perpetuates the thread?

as stated in the first post, which you never answered.
why do the so called "n00bs" feel the need to tell everyone that he/she is so great? so wise? so much more knowledgeable than the "elitests"? |
I can't speak for n00bs in general and I don't make such claims personally.

yea wat a crock of , this isnt the ing schoolyard its a forum. we're not trying to make friends i dont care wat kind of a community it is, its about saying your opinion if u have a different opinion it i dont care, ill tell u why i disagree and u may hate me for it but dont be ignorant enough to label somebody as "moronic" or watever other bull you've been saying about somebody (me) u know next to nothing about.
as for "the irony" i can pretty much accept that not everybody likes trance or asot lists or watever but i dont try and act better than somebody based on my taste in music, which is exactly wat they do. i dont go around with immature insults, then call other people the immature ones and claim that i am not exactly that. i dont assume that anybody who likes prog trance is a "n00b" and im not stupid enough to think that age automatically makes somebody smarter or more mature than somebody. if these guys really were smart and mature and gods gift to man :stongue: like they claim they'd be above all that but they clearly arent which just contradicts everything that they say about these so called "n00bs".
as for names, they;re not people in the "cor" they 're people who seem to think they are the gods of the music discussion section. jive jo bingles, mr mystery, i cant remember all their names but they speak for themselves, i dont need to name them because they know exactly who they are but they arent any of the "cor" regulars if u need to know that much and im not referring to all people who have been on these forums in a while. if i had to name these people all the time id be here forever so that part of your argument is just pointless. as is all of this.
now try not to make assumptions in the responses to this post and actually use something credible if any of u "elitists" ( naming u all) can be ed arguing anymore ;). i cant though... |
.... you're an idiot. |

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this TO'ed nooblette is really a pissed off alt?
http://tranceaddict.com/forums/view...=&pagenumber=18
Its never good when someone 'new' immediately posts in the COR upon first coming to tranceaddict. The first appeal to this site is the music... |

I don't understand why you think I'm pissed. I like this forum and I'm not ranting/flaming.
I love edm, but I'm not the type of person to discuss it endlessly. I like to listen to it. I've always gravitated to music oriented forums because that's where I find the most like-minded people. |

You avoid the point I made. The vast majority of people stumble upon the COR after they join. They typically explore the music discussion section first.... this isnt CORaddict.com/forums |

the irony. good job mrmystery you have proven yourself once again, you are the epitome of wat this guy is describing |
I'm not even trying to deny that. Irony and sarcasm is what my online "persona" consists of. It doesn't mean I'd actually be serious about it nearly as often as you'd think.
I just like playing around with you young poodles. You're so adorable. |

It seems you've missed my point as well. I like general forums made up of like minded edm fans. That is why I sought out the COR.
I'm not avoiding your point, I'm explaining why it's incorrect. |

so Ed...who ARE you? by reading thru this i think you created this thread so as to gain attention (attention whore), and in doing so, and responding to the storm you can increase your # of posts, change the Tranceaddict in training tag and BAM you're no longer a n00b (and hence reaching your elitist status that you so eloquently speak of)
im talking just to talk , dont get too pissed :p im a n00b too bro |
