It gets tiring being on ure feet for 8 hrs and not being able to go up to the second floor to chill without a wristband. IMO, VIP should be taken from the place downstairs and all moved upstairs. That red cushion area should be a chill out for ppl who wanna take a break off the dance floor.

Ok I will agree with u abt that. Studio is...so generic of a name. But ah well so is most of the clubs these days -- there is no more SOUL...soo its a self-fulfilling prophecy

but whatever :o

I don't know, to me Studio sounds like a blasphemy (for Studio 54).

Maybe the new name will take some off the heat off the space, and maybe they can then go hosting 18+ parties (or at least not be such pains in the a## about ID if 21+ ;) )

What do you think the chances this place turns into an all hip hop club in 6 months. To me this looks like the first step in the wrong direction.

Not sure but it seems that all the problems started when Crobar began doing hip hop nights. People got shot....that chick got killed on the west side highway (not that the killing had anything to do with Crobar.) It's just a bad spot for a club right now. Nobody wants to go out in Chelsea anymore.
