The show is a little more than 2 weeks away and no one is promoting it and no tickets are on sale. I can understand not promoting it because the place will be packed regardless but does anyone know if there will be tickets onsale! Thanks in advance.

i agree no one is promoting it, but thats exactly the reason it wont be packed.

i dont think he has that kind of draw anymore to fill Crobar even if it was promoted.

i checked on wantickets for you, they're not selling tickets there for the Crobar show.

yeah, I just looked around. I don't see anything anywhere except that on Paul's myspace, he's supposed to be there Feb. 24th.

Strange...and that sux, I probably would've missed this anyways..gotta see AVB for my first time yet...

Oakie rocked last time I saw him, pure energy, although he left early like a girl. :whip:

I'm just saying that Crobar is fairly packed on Saturday's as it is and throw in the small crowd that knows about it and the fact that they are trying to make Crobar a "VIP" club could make it a pain in the ass to get in without tickets. Unless of course your wearing a skirt! Chicago is not a VIP city so I don't know why they waste their time. They could make alot more money if they would just let dudes in when it's not at capacity.

true, it was a pretty good turnout last saturday and it was just me and mixin marc. the odd thing is why would they have oakey there if they arent going to promote it? why not just have another normal night?

if its on a Saturday @ Crobar, just wait 6 days before for your Myspace bulletin board to be flooded and bombarded by Exact Events.

P.S. I hear this is an invite-only Camel event, although, I refuse to believe it.

that would make more sense, and since its taking this long to see any promotion, its probably the case.

I have some friends coming in from out of town for the show. They are actually buying their tickets tonight. Worst comes to worst Filo & Peri it will be!

P.S. How would one go about getting invited to this show?

delobbo
crobar doesnt need to advertise for fridays or saturdays, really. they have no trouble. btw this saturday = portia surreal. it will be a full house.

roger sanchez wasnt promoted at all and it was a full house.
