Argh, this is the reason I don't want to move to America. All these organizations and interest groups going all -hey if something remotely go against what they stand for.
This is like if NAMBLA was to protest for instance a cop show or a movie for depicting a pedophile as a bad person.

yeah, that's exactly what it's like... :rolleyes:
the one that aired was generally silly and innocuous. the motor oil and wrench versions are quite offensive with the implication that kissing a man is an act so heinous that it would require either guzzling poison or reacting violently...
if america were more tolerant toward gays it would be easier to laugh at the whole thing, but when anti-gay violence and homophobia are commonplace it's not so funny. |
