my ex's brother got into Wharton. god he wouldn't shut up about it either. lol

he scored in the high 700's i think on the gmat. what's the highest you can score on that? i forget.

it's not. good grades, a lot of motivation - and you're in. i have a lot of friends in ivy league schools who had neither affluent nor rich parents.

hard work and motivation is all you need.

plus, some non-ivy-league schools are better than some ivy-league ones (compare MIT and Brown).

exactly. ivy league is just the sports league started in the early 20th centuries by older colleges. quality of program and old-fashioned prestige are two completely different things.
