street kid scrubs who call themselves ravers...
REALLY?? Is that right? Well to bad I agreed w/ everything else you said and then you had to go and ruin it with a COMMENT such as that!
I was a RAVER and my parents were very well off! NEVER was I a STREET kid ( FUNNY Raver clothing costs MORE then you think), not a RAVER anymore I'M a BIRD and I DO KNOW WHErE MY home is!
Funny you just displayed a TOTAL gino attitude cause that's what they do think of us!

Andora, what gets to me is how some people are so quick to bash people who have different styles than them.. And i feel that this is an immature attitude..
Don't get me wrong here the whole gino attitude is not really my cup of tea, and in no way am i standing up for them nor supporting them.. But what i find time and time again, especially in this forum is people who are into the supposedly raver type style, baggy pants funky T's, are always so quick to bash ginos.. As Sigmund would say, perhaps there exists an anger inside that is directed at people who like wearing fitted jeans and diesel shirts and put glue in their hair.. Why is there an anger? Likely because they believe that the rave, the scene is theres and that gino's don't belong...

There will always be a problem when people differ either in style, race, taste and likes and dislikes. We are all individuals which means we are all different.
Everyone is intitled to their own opinion, however when name calling occurs people tend to become DEFENSIVE and begin to DEFEND themselves...

This is a LOST discussion that has been going on for centuries..

How about we all get back on track here. I think we were all talking about WEMF? Were we not?
I'm so ecstatic to hear that it's going on again. WEMF 2000 was my first party ever, and I plan on making it every year to celebrate my anniversary. I'm coming all the way back from B.C. this year just just for this event. And to hear things from Ryan that it's going to be bigger and better, with a 19+ room that can fit THOUSANDS? DAMN!... is right!
I don't care who the DJ's are going to be, that's the best part... waiting to see who is coming.
People make the party, music makes the difference! :D

Arcticboy, you have to go this year!!! I went for the first time last year and yeah, it kind of sucked cuz it go shut down for like 2 hours but other than that, I had a great time. We camped right beside the Destiny tent (that's where you'll hear trance) and I met amazing people!!! You know what, we should have a TA campsite for all TA's going to WEMF this year. |
