i really dont think it is bull. i mean, they brought chus&ceballos to the docks instead of sonic. thats the first sign. secondly, no bookings for sonic in march. im just surprised they havent made a press release about it. |

Honestly, I'm almost in tears here...Atfer losing System Soundbar I thought I'd never find myself a new home, but I was fortunate to have found the delight that was Sonic. Everything about that place is magical to me...and once again when things are too good to be true, I gotta move out again. Bull! :(
I've never had such a spiritual journey like the one I had for Satoshi Tomiie....there are countless number of events that I immensely enjoyed there. What now?
Footwork has pretty good bookings but they're not often...(it has potential for greatness if the place was expanded.)

Goodbye Sonic, Welcome CiRca, which im told is opening "for real this time" very soon.
I loved sonic don't get me wrong but its a club. They come, they go.
But if sonics closing for real its no ones fault but their own. after morales kinda vanished I knew that was the start of it all. and not to mention big named djs in recent months delevering so/so sets.
Sonic was great, but it lost its way. (sorry to say)
Last night was fkn awesome tho, cajjmere was like, insane. and rauhofer was decent. but overall 2 words
NOT SURPRISED
at all.

I agree to an extent. This is proof that having the best product on the market just isn't enough these days. It'll be a damn shame though if this club does close down. Feel especially bad for the people involved with the club who put their heart and soul into making this place what it is.
Oh well, looks like all that's left now is Footwork Saturdays (and whatever else Carey & Co decide to do in the future) |
