They never ask for techno, or at least not for me. Usually they either like what they think is "techno" or they don't. Its really funny to teach someone that all the rap and hip-hop they listen to is "techno".
PS- My "It's not Techno" shirt is being made right now, i'll post pics of it later. |

| What I meant is if people ask something stupid like, 'are you going to be playing techno all night?' when you're actually playing house what I'll do is throw on some actual techno. |

Sounds like me... people always ask for Cascada, and I refuse to play her trashy . Finally one night, I gave in and played the absolute worst hardstyle remix of "Every Time We Touch." People kept asking me to play the song, even while it was playing. I just laughed. |

Sorry to bring back a thread from the dead, I've been insanely busy with graduation and all
But anyways I Did my DJ set a month ago and the whole school loved it. Even a month after my last set I still get compliments and people
asking me to DJ their parties :D
The School even asked me to do it again (2 weeks ago)
