iPod help.

Ok so yah im a little behind and i just got a ipod. its a 30g video and i just have a few questions.
1. Ok so i think i have loading my music onto it down but my first issue is when i download a compilation like ISOS or okenfolds ibiza each song comes up under a difrent artist not just tiesto or paul.
2.when i load a video and convert it i loose all the sound when i put it on the divice.
any helpfull fints you have would be great and any helpfull sites would be terific as well. |

1. there is a program to help you with this: "commonsense.exe"
2. i don't know much about video on Ipods. but my guess is that maybe your videos are converted into glorious XViD format, which, for unfamiliar players, will usually play video with no sound. encode to a different codec maybe? vanilla mpegII? |

| I'm not sure how I pods or MP3 players in general are supposed to display information, but doesn't it make sense for the tracks to show up under the original artists name? :wtf: I would imagine that you would have each compilation in a separate folder anyway, at least that's how it works on a Sony Ericsson W810i. |
