Little zee pwns you, you can't appreciate this movie unless you live outside of the 3rd world.

Brazil is not part of the 3rd world! We're now part of the 2nd and a half world, along with China, South Africa and Kazakhstan!
Ivand
certainly is not the story, is the execution, i mean Gonzales Iñarritu's Amores Perros doesnt have a really meaningful(or obvious) plot yet it was executed flawless with good cinematography, awesome editing etc. Attention to little details also takes a really big role.

There are people in your country who live in houses made out of krispy kreme boxes and manure.Having a few McDonalds does not make you guys part of the 2 and a half club, although i approve of the waxing and thongs.:p

as if bag brazil, they have the hottest chicks in the world and alot of them. if the cost of that is having to be a "3rd world country" (even though its bull) i would say its a small price to pay

Good imagination! Allot of Hollywood films these days totally lack imagination. I am sick of watching unnecessary remakes.

Good character development or just good characters! I can’t stand Barbies & Kens on the big screen, I prefer realistic everday looking people. EG: In a horror movie I honestly do not care if the pretty college girl gets killed, but if it was a fully developed & interesting character then I would probably be cringing.

Interesting Ingredients! Allot of movies go by a structured / predictable formula that has been done a million times before. Movies that stand out to me are the ones that off clichés and go on obscure or unpredictable paths. I like sitting on the edge of my seat thinking "WTF is going to happen next???"

Also, films should not be rushed. Films that have been given unrealistic deadlines and tight budgets usually end up having messy plot holes.

In most casing they arent. The director uses sex appeal over quality. If the script is good and the pretty boy can act, then I will probably enjoy the movie

gotcha ;) and i agree, i totally hate ****s who cant act but are just in the business for their looks
