There is no rule for me as to what makes a good movie, but I've got a pretty good idea what makes a great movie.
Writing: the plot, Characters!, dialogue
Acting
Directing/Producing, Cinematography!/Montage, Music!
I guess the most important thing is the writing |

And I prefer comedies anyday, 90% of what i watch is comedy so I like originality mainly.
