Frenchie says there's a difference. I believe there isn't. Love is love. IN LOVE just means you can and are willing to sleep with them on top of that. |

| being in love is different from loving. Either way, it's something I don't take lightly, by any stretch of the imagination, but the former, IMO, includes all those more practical elements already mentioned. |

I love my closest friends, but I'm not IN LOVE with them. I still love one of my ex's, but I'm not in love with him.

no difference, bull aside if she ever needed me id be there.We had some great times and she made me feel things i didn't feel for the longest time.I might not like her but i love her. |

exactly. thank you. no difference whatsoever.
edit: my point - if you love a person and are physically attracted to them - that's in love. love for a person like your best friend or your mom isn't a different feeling, just under different circumstances. sex/etc. shouldn't have a bearing on how you feel about someone deep down inside, so frenchie you're way off base saying i associate it with sex - quite the contrary - i'm eliminating it out of the equation to show you that once you break it down love it the same no matter who it's directed towards. |
