lol its way easier to Aim a real gun than aiming on the consoles!
Trust me, i know:D
Second trailer is amazing, i wanna hear Niko say "Cheap piece of made in R'ussia!" in this game:p
His character is definetly not my fav. one though
its funny to see how low the FPS is in this trailer, i mean what kind of machine do you need to run this monster?:eyes:
Oh,and it reminded me of the old Driv3r's trailer:) |

there seem to be way less characters on the screen.
Maybe Times Square is using the absolute potential of next gen, while many of the environments (besides the subway station) in this new trailer seem to be in a lower populous area.
also, a duffel bag.
I imagine it's going to be like MGS3, where you have a quick select of pertinent items in the duffel bag

looks ing sick during bank robberies (HEAT) |

scans and tidbits

When you commit a crime, it creates a search area for police. Once you escape the search area, your wanted level retreats.
Every single street is named, and the police will use the street names in their police scanners.
* Liberty City's equivalent of Times Square: Star Junction |

Pre-release, don't worry, it will rum smooth on the consoles.
I remember seeing similar jittering for the first movies of Super Mario Universe for Wii, as time passes, and they get close to release, the jittering disappeared.
They are not dealing with something so limited like the PS2 here, they have tonnes of power, and enough cores to run everything needed. |

Rockstar is paying humans to impersonate fake DJs hosted at the telephone number within the above page to record your rants to include them on the upcoming GTAIV radio stations.
that's actually pretty funny and cool.
The guys at SomethingAwful always ponder the best ways to take it to the next level:

This radio thing is cool but what would be REALLY cool is if they keep it open to submissions after the game is released and stream the new calls into the in-game radio for some time after. There have been rumors that they might be doing some sort streaming or downloading thing to keep the radio stations fresh, and this call-in stuff would be an easy way for them to get new content for it. |

| If they wanted to do music streaming, I don't think it would be a problem. |

| This will be the Game of the Year for 2007. If not it will def be up there in the runnings for sure. |

| So, are they adding any real new gameplay or features |

I'm sure they will. Every game has had something new and innovative so they'll be able to do it yet again. |

GPS units!
- The taxi drivers will play a significant roll into the gameplay. If Niko wants to go to point B, from point A, on the map, he can take the ride with just a push of a button.
- This time, taxi-drivers will fulfill some special wishes for the Player. If Niko is hungry, the Yellow Cab will drive him to the next Food restaurant. If Niko is hurt, then the taxi-driver will drive to the hospital. So, each place is reachable by taxi in a few seconds.
- Though, you can't take the taxi ride, while police are after you.
- Police will appear on the map as 'dots', while they are on search for you.
- Niko Bellic uses his mobile phone and the Internet, on regular basis.
- On the streets of LC, the reporters saw - Ferrari, Volkswagen Jetta, BMWs, Mustangs, SUVs, delivery vans, garbage trucks.
- Niko mobile phone is a phone, messenger, Organizer, photo camera and GPS - all in one.
- The map will have GPS, which shows you the best way (will be colored in Yellow) towards your target.
- Improved target system with different hit zones.
- The girl, in the artwork with lollipop is named Lola and she is available for special hours. |
