Well i only have MB..not MBP...

and crap...i just checked the website, and realized that when its only 1GB, they give you 2x 512MB..so thats sucks. I need to buy 2x 1GB then..and I guess sell the two 512MB.

MB and MBP take the same memory. But you're right that the MacBooks come from Apple with 2x512 by default.

At least it's easy to change.
