Good luck trying to find work relating to your education.

Don't just post resumes on job sites. Find out about companies you'd like to work for or that are in the industries you want to work in. Go to their websites and check if they have postings. Go to the library and look through Scotts Directories to find HR contacts etc..

im studying elec eng right now, but I'm not too worried about employment when im done. Ive known for years that this is what I should expect.

I say try looking outside the immediate field of EE. Thats my plan when I graduate. Hope you find something soon. good luck.

You went to the U of W right?

Try going to the Career Studies office in the basement of Dillon Hall - it's the same as the VIP & Co-op office at the end of the hall (towards Leddy).

Kerry Anne Gray helped me a bunch of times, perfecting my resume and gave me tips on where to look for jobs, and how to go about applying for certain positions etc. etc. She was extremely helpful.

My mom just told me that Kerry has moved to another department, however I'm assuming there is someone that is there to replace her. It's worth a shot - hopefully who ever is there can help you.

Sorry to hear that man, this province is still recovering from Nortel I think.

Lots of opportunities in IT, or software, or out west or in the USA... and have you spent much time looking in the power generation/distribution sectors?
