OK, first, lighten up a bit - what I posted was CLEARLY a joke.
Secondly, if it has its base in historical fact, then there's no ing way they should have a Scottish accent, period. I don't think it's that much to ask of the actors to cut out the Scottish accent. Would you not be a little surprised to see a movie about Spartans, only to find that all the actors were chinamen? I realize it's very loosely based on history, but if you're even going to mention the word Sparta, that pretty much cuts out the Asian actors and Scottish accents. |

Like a whole day later now since i saw it (645pm it started on Saturday)
and I keep thinking about this film!! Cant get certain lines out of my head.
I havent taken to an action film this much since probably Underworld: Evolution or the Chronicles of Riddick (I just love both Vin Diesel and the Riddick character).
I think we're thinking about going to see it at the IMAX too if possible bc one of my friends and my bro still havent seen it. If they go, I am going to see it again!

This is such an excellent film. All the "extreme" ppl and persons and beats that Xerxes throws at the Spartans is an awesome effect. Like the beheader guy whose ungodly fat and weird shaped and has blades that run teh length of his arms embedded RIGHT INTO HIS arms... awesome!
or the Uber Invincible dude... just an impressive film IMO.
/ Hope to see it again.

This movie is worth watching and paying few exra bucks for in IMAX ,
i could have watched this movie in brampton Cineplex for free da day it came out coz i work there part time ,but im going to york dale coz me and my buddies are gona watch it when its supposively less packed. |
