First EDM experience?

So lets hear it, what tune? party? got you into the electronic dance music field of events?
well, my first track which I really can't recall. In 2001 it was probably Children or Bravehearts love theme.
First party, Paul Van Dyk in new york. Wow, what a mindfcuk! After that party, thats where I saw myself. The music, the ambience and ofcourse, the people.

Yeah there probably is a thread like this already but I've never posted in one before :)
First tune was when I first heard about MP3's back in the day and the first one I found was on some czech website, it was Gouryella - Gouryella when it was first released. I don't think this was the very first EDM song but the one that stands out as the one that started my quest for more like it.
The first party I 'saw' was the video of the '97 love parade in the Westbam and Dr. Motte - Sunshine video. I just remember thinking how much I hated living in no-where middle America at the time and how long it would be before I could make it to a party like that, I think I was 14 or 15.
First real party I FINALLY made it to was G2 last June, it took a long ing time from wanting to party to actually being able to get to a party, so of course it was ing nuts :eyespop: |

After that night, partying took on a whole new meaning to me. It was the night I truly discovered house. |

Children was my first album, last year of highschool (O.A.C.), 1998. That album opened my eyes, I haven't looked back since. Though also I started listening to Scooter at the time for the next 2 years or so.
But my first event was Godskitchen 2007 in Sydney and then a week later in Melbourne. Eddie Halliwell was amazing, but my love is Above & Beyond now, and some of their stuff now reminds me of the past.
