Say it to Mr. Abramovich. He can buy you twice, if he'd want.

Arrogant??? OMG you must be jOWking. The thing that Central Europe differs from Britain, is that the people there are much nicer, friendly, polite and so on.

Clothes are joke? Why because we actually buy decent brands. If you give it attitude about the city and culture then no wonder people were ignorant towards you.

oh man, don't even try to say me that.
You have brands, really good brands, but the problem is that only limited number of people are able to afford it. And most of the nation doesn't have any idea what the word taste means.

Just do me a favor, go to Picaddily on any weekend, pickup an average Brit and Italian and compare their looks. Gosh, you will see the difference.

London needs some years (see decades) before surpassing the sheer massivness of Tokyo and NYC who are truely the "center of the universe".

Each boast GDP of over one trillion dollar (1191 billion for Tokyo and 1133 for NYC).

London with its 452 billion isn't even near that select club and surpassed by LA(639B), Chicago(460B) and Paris(460B).

GDP is one thing, but everyone I talk to who is going on business trips, is either going to London, China or Zurich.

Italians are stylish people no doubts about that a lot of the best brands in the world are based there, hell most my clothes are made by Diesel or Gstar. Italians have the best style in the world.

Limited number of people are able to afford it? What exactly do you know about the UK? Do you know what everyone is earning etc?

Actually there is some Russians who live down my street, they drive an old lada the seats are in a zebra skin pattern very classy. I often see the peroxide haired girl who lives in that house stumble out the house wearing her leopard skin trousers, she must be going to her job in the red light district early to get some overtime, whilst her pimp boyfriend who dresses like 50 cent has a lie in.

Edit: Every nation has people with taste and others who lack taste. Don't tar people with the same brush.

My garden needs to be done. How does 75p an hour sound? It'll come to roughly $1 so a good solid Latino wage! ;):p

Italy is ing dangerous and corrupt, ask some Middlesbrough fans. And what is a Russian talking about style for? They are like 20 years behind in your motherland star. Peroxide is spot on, hilarious if you ask me.

France would be a big world power easily rivalling China if they could get rid of their unions which strangle the crap out of the economy every time their leaders feel like a day off. The work ethic in a lot of their services and industrial sectors leaves a lot to be desired as well, but that's mostly part-parcel with unions running roughshod for too long.

I've been there!

The women are very superficial. And its not the type of superficial like here in the states. Women here want/can afford abercrombie, russian women want docle, versaci, gucci and they can't afford it. But its kind of funny that in moscow the highest number of prositutes are there than anywhere else in the world. Also anything they try to do in fashion they copy of the west or always try to compare themselves to the west. Sorry, Rome>>>>>>>>moscow and much more beauutiful though there are a lot of friendly people in both cities.
