Those who have seen American Beauty would probably relate to this. So I watching the movie high and these scenes just made so much sense to me...
And then...
(This is the ending for those who have not seen it yet)
While talking to friends about it..my friend said that sometimes he can be so cautious about things that he forgets that how important to really enjoy life...
Who else feels this way about things and life...thoughts??
And ya...this is one of the best movies I have seen...

For the first video: that scene can really get to me sometimes and I'm not completely sure why. The music is so beautiful that I almost cry

oh dude...you have to watch this movie stoned...the sketchy thoughts you can get are just soo awesome...

I definitely tend to get caught up in cautiousness... over thinking... over analyzing... until all of a sudden all of the fun and spontaneity is completely gone from the situation. I've tried to taper it back, though - although its tough to be successful, sometimes.

Exactly....even school does this to me...sometimes even if I am interested in some stuff...they burden us with so much work that I lose my liking for the stuff....
And then there are so many places I have not been able to go, so many parties that I have sacrificed for skool...makes me think if school is really worth it....anybody else feel this way???
Elendil
Well, see... thats a tough one... of course, you'll have to sacrifice celebrations and party if you've been called to school or to work... and thats life - besides, a celebration is only justified if its earned... and an earned celebration is always more jubilant.
I definitely agree that sometimes its hard to find the value in school, but you find the value later... if you're a decent student, it trains you into discipline, and gives you skills that will come in handy.
For me, its what I do outside of my work/school obligations... my free time needs to be more about enjoying life, rather than worrying about little things in between.

I enjoyed the movie, but personally I didn't see why it was so hyped up. Just me I guess. I like the blood and guts and extreme gore.

Something i noticed is that a lot of girls who watch this movie get caught up with the weirdness of the Kevin Spacey/Mena Suvari relationship and miss the end revelation.
Not saying that's necessarily what happened with you, but could be.
