sorry to disappoint you guys, but this is not a PVD track.
Its Giuseppe Ottaviani - Far From me ;) |
Yes, but it has the same synth as Nothing but You. It's just to similar to be a Giuseppe Ottaviani track. I have no doubt that this is not PvD. We'll see
I have a sample of another possible PvD track, a male vocal one, that I heard last year @ his gig in Bucharest. The track before Time of our lives:

the preview was upped in GO's website, but for some reason it is taken down now. thats where i got the name from :) dont have any idea about the release date, but it should be out on vandit, as other GO tracks, i assume. So you all should wait till the summer of 2008 at least...
personally i like the track. it has oldshhool trance influences, i really dig them.

i lol'd hard.:haha:
if you guys have heard pvd's remix of what goes around, comes around, im sure you wouldn't ask questions like that.
oh man. thats incredibly cheesy. :( but i can see it as his new track, even the vocals remind me of Wayne Jackston... the follow-up to The Other Side? anyway, im tired of male vocals in todays trance music. this track is an absolute tosh, as well as the anthem is. |

This seems to be a new PVD track, it was played at Coachella this past weekend. There are a couple other ones I saw in the videos from the 1015 show in San Francisco that seem like new tracks as well. It could be possible that Paul is starting to can tracks from his new album in his livesets, but this must have just started, because there was no hint of this from his sets at Ultra and Space at WMC a few weeks ago. |
nby vs (Alpha Breed - Epic Future-Aurora - Ordinary World (Above & Beyond Remix)-Orion - Eternity-Traveller - Bright Sign (Trance Mix)-Active Sight - Out Of Our Lives-DJ Tandu - Velvet (1999)-Factoria - A Legends Legacy-Marcos & Jk Walker - Apache 7-Lingen & Moore - Passion (Robert Nickson Vocal Mix)-Ian van dahl - i can't let you go-dj passion - hobbs end-armin van buuren - shivers)

Damnit, I KNEW IT!!! I knew I had heard this tune a loooongg time before, and I pulled my old Anabolic Frolic CDs, and there is was - the first track of Happy2BHardcore chapter 3 - "Distant Skies" by the Uniques.
This seems to be a mainfloor hard dance remix of the classic happy hardcore tune. I've ripped a small portion for you to check out and give a listen, there are definately similarities, the main tune is basically the same notes:

Either way he loses on TA.
|
i think this is a clear, and solid opinion.
pvd will lose with ta.
but like i read on asot 2007 thread, ta represents an extremely small segment of the market, though the opinions here can hold greater weight.
money > opinions.

in my opinion its not.
just because that word is thrown around like loose change here doesnt mean it is.
