Pacha Security

Im PISSED! It sucks that they think they can keep threating people and making them pay money to stay in the club. I think that Pacha needs to here about it. I myself will not go back for any reason what so ever until they can take some action and get rid of these bouncers. It's Wrong!

...wanna tell us what happened exactly??
kaykay
Friday night at Armin they were being complete s! If they see you doing one little thing wrong or even nothing at all they threaten to throw you out. For example....they saw my friend smoking a cigarette and took him and his friend to the exit door and told them they had to pay $20.00 each to stay. they have been doing this alot ande they get away with it. It's time for it to stop. Who do they think they are???

technically, you can be written up a ticket for smoking indoors since it's illegal... not saying what they did is right but the other "legal" options for breaking the law are probably even more expensive..

Kala: why dont you call management of Made/Pacha (it might have been a made bouncer since they have their own staff, but I doubt it since they tend to act much more professional than other staff's).

I emailed them.

the bouncers could have totally just kicked them out without any sort of reprieve...then again, demanding $20 wasn't right either. However, to the clubbers who were involved, paying $20 was probably better than 1) paying another $50 to get back in...or 2) not being able to come back into the club at all.

they do usually ask you to put the cigarette out first, before doing anything though. It *is* ILLEGAL to smoke indoors anywhere in NYC. ppl in the VIP area WERE smoking a bit openly hrhrhr

but NOT that i agree with the paying under the table practices either. :whip:

then again, girls were getting away with it all nite(its never fair with these things tho).

hardy har har ....you are freakin hilarious.

Kala: I agree, smoking isn't allowed so technically its justified to get in trouble, but its not justified to ask for the cashola.
