when you compare him to some of the talent that has come out of say stickman records--paranoid jack , funk 198 etc and many other great EDM talents. Then you compare it to Danny(I rip off others sound)D , it just freaks me out , so self serving , talk about plugging your own product , none of the really talented producers get airplay on the radio , yet danny and his sonic foundry/vegas/fruit loops track gets the big time airplay:whip:

But realistically, the Junos are so ... blah. How many nominations do Sarah McLachlan, Diane Krall, Shania Twain, Nickelback, Nelly Furtado, etc. get every year? The Junos just seem to be an exclusive club of artists and to be honest, it comes off as bland and uninteresting... which is really sad given how diverse and GOOD a lot of lesser known Canadian music is. |
