Ha! I had two bottles of Rev last night. .. Oh and a bottle of water too. Funny to see the antics that go on and watching people who are drugged up. ("not that there's anything wrong with that" .. I had to drive home afterwards so I had to behave). |

I wouldn't say just mood, it's also preference... either you're really into progressive or your not.... as for me, my top love is Trance without question or else i wouldn't be on this site... i like progressive but i don't love it. |

I got a ride from Arcticboy to the event, we had a little chat. It was good, cause we had more time to talk than we normally do in the club.
Picked up his GF from Mississauga, got to the Kool Haus @ around 10:30. I got in line, while he parked the car. Than I saw 'tatgirl' sorry I did not say hi. Than we saw friends of Arcticboy, and we cut in so all in all we spent around 10 min in line.:D
Got inside, got our coats checked, and I bumped into 'firestarter'.
We chilled, got a couple of drinks. Jimmy Van M, was not too bad for a warm-up.
Went to the meetup spot at 11:20 waited there for about 30 min or so. Did not see anyone, got more drinks! (Well I did all in all last night I had: 2 beers, 4 revs, 2 smirnoff ice). Than we bumped into Arciticboy again, who meanwhile went looking for his friends. We decided not to wait and just go out to the dancefloor. Right away we bump into a bunch of TA's: TranceXtasy, DietCocain, Sarcoman, Bliss'n'Trance, and Cloud'9.
Danced for a while, music was good, I was sort of in the mood for some progressive, and I knew what to expect so I was fine with it. We listened to Transport 4 in Arcticboy's car, so that sort of got me pumped.
I loved the lasers, they were good, like someone earlier said, they were great but not out of this world. Sound system was good, plus I got some earplugs of Articboy (thanx for the hook up again!).
I went to get more drinks and bumped into my friend Will, he also posts on TA just not as often, his nick is "tranner" on TA.
An hour later or so I saw Stereo Princess, haven't see u in a while! She told me that Jazz and Heatscore were at the front, as well as Blue_Neon and Halo_20! : I went over and said hi! And than I saw Swamper, he gave me one of his nods!:stongue: I guess he aproved! :stongue:
It was nice to chat after it was all over, I was a bit pissed, cause I saw all the way from the back that S&D asked if they could play another tune for encore, but were told not to. Than some from the GUV crew almost ran a couple of TA's over with his lift truck! What an . Than he started cusing at people and told them to leave and get out of his way! What a ing TWAT!
Oh and who ever took the group shot? StereoPrincess? Can you post the pic?
Well that's about it. Oh yeah I was amazed :eek: that they played 'The Age of Love'! What an amazing track it is!
Than the lineups to the coat check, we have all heard enough of this. I had a lot of fun, not just because of the music, but because almost anywhere I looked I saw TA's! Malice, Evmac and others were where you guys, I figured a lot of you could not make it to the meet up so, let's all make up for it at Armin! EVERYONE, come one, is it really that hard to show up a little earlier to avoid the lineups?
Well anyways, thanx to everyone for coming out and representing.
Oh BTW, another useless fact, as we were waiting in the lineup for the coatcheck we asked one of the staff, how much the capacity of the Kool Haus is, and he said that it is suposed to be 2400! It was way more ppl in there that night!
Overall it was a good night for me!
P.S. Jeff thanx a million again for giving me a ride! I owe you big time! |

i thought it really cool that you asked me if i was a T.A cause i been checking this site out for a while and wondered if i'd actually seen people from here at a rave and now i have. If you are the girl that asked me then i think we were chilling in the same area for a while cause i kept seeing you.

I came in at 11:45 and gave my coat to someone, then checked out the corner, no one was there.. and, no, I didn't wear the cowboy hat, though I did see that guy! :D

Hey everyone!! Me and Ray made it home safe so now you don't have to worry. Zing was the dude with the camera. I'll see if he was able to scan the group picture.
Me and Ray drove from Ottawa on Friday night and we got to the line up and it was like all the way around the corner. But we decided that if we were paying the full price for the tickets then we would not wait that long, so we snuck into the front of the line and did not have to wait long. We came in and said forget it to the coat check and went looking for Halo20 cuz we were there to surprise him. I think we did a pretty good job because at first he didn't even recognize us when we stood in front of him. Then he got mad and said "Why didn't you tell me??" So that was pretty fun. Met Blue_Neon (aka Tomek, right?? Just jokin') at that time too. I was hoping that everyone was actually going to meet where they said, but nooooo(like that will ever work). We hang out at the front for a bit and met Evmac and RuffRyda and embarrassed myself because he Evamac asked me if I have seen Del and I said "No, but do you know where Swamper is??" So that was quite embarassing. So I started roaming around and could not find anyone and by this time Digweed was already spinning. I figured that they was going to be the same pace thoughout the entire set but I was amazed that the tunes actually picked up in the second half of the night.
The Set us was awesome!! I have never heard Koolhaus sound so good. I wanna Phazon in my room (donations to the cause accepted). Since I'm not into progressive I did not recognize many songs but some of them were really pumpin'. Finally ended up meeting Swamper and with him were ZinG and his girlfriend from Holland. Hope she had a great time in Canada and a safe trip home.
After a long while I finally found trancearmada and he showed me where all the other tranceadicts were. I met Arcticboy and some of the other Polish tranceaddicts (we rule). Anyways so we all had fun together after that. When the place closed at four, I wasn't surprised as some people and i guess it made a lot of peeps pretty mad. Arcticboy said to go to System so me and Ray did. That place was pretty cool but I felt ty paying the 20$ cover. Anyways we waited there and saw a lot of people that came from the KoolHaus. Arcticboy finally showed up and it was just to let us know that he wasn't going to be staying and he also introduced us to some of his friends so we wouldn't be lonely since he knew that we didn't know anyone else. That must have been the nicest thing anyone has ever done!!! What a guy!! The tunes were pretty good at System and we just chilled and rested out legs for the long drive home. Met some cool guys from Windsor too. Come-on Marck, you gotta sign on now!!
Anyways sorry it was so long but I had a great time and see you sometime in the future. |
