Wow .. I must say that I definitely had a great time at S&D! :eyes:
It was crazy! Despite what many people said, S&D were wicked. I went there expecting quite a lot from them since they're considered the two top DJs in the world .. and I have to admit that they put on quite a show. They far surpassed my expectations! :D
I have to say though that the line-up was extremely long - my friends and I froze our asses off in line for over 45 mins. The coat check area was somewhat disorganized .. how did I know that there was gonna be chaos at the end of the nite :rolleyes:
The atmosphere was pretty good - no cracked out asians! .. beyond their league eh? The lights and sound were wicked - I really liked how they set up the entire place but I would have liked it a bit better if the DJ booth was just a bit lower.
All in all, it was a good nite. ;) |

Yeah, I saw her at the entrance as well - I really can't stand her at all .. she really gets on my nerves. She tries to act like she knows everything about music but when she does interviews with DJs, you can tell that she knows jack because she asks the dumbest questions ever!
EC has definitely gone downhill since she took over! :rolleyes: |

well, its been a long time since the party, but still gotta pay regards to all the TA's.
Same scene, froze in line, finally got in. Awesome decor, great sound. Overall a very good setup. Would have to agree with Jasmyn that the DJ Booth should have been a bit lower. Nice meeting a lot of TA's once again. Too many to write names down. Those who I didnt meet, I was the guy in the red shirt with DELTA written on the front and HEAVY on the back :)
The set was AWESOME, got totally blown away. Especially the last hour. If the night would've gone out to be until 7, the results could have been frightening !!
Biggest regret: John Digweed walked right past me through the crowd and I didnt shake his hand(I was quite gone). Everyone else around me didnt even notice him. He was just walking through, I guess a lot of peeps here dont know what they look like.
Anyways, Armin on the 13th, that night will also be a farewell to the old guv room. See ya guys there........ |

forgot, one hilarious incident.
Because of my shirt, a group of people came up to me and started sayin "yo, our friends from Miama told us that this is the best show". Then they asked me if I was touring with them?? they actually thought that I was !! in the end I was like no....Im from Toronto.....it was hilarious at that time. |

I showed up late for S&D, and didn't catch anyone... but you will see me at Armin, for sure! Again, look for the lights... the trippy lights... reach for the lazers... :D:D
And a customized shirt? Good idea... should I go for one of those for Armin? |
