Dude no one is questioning if you can mix or not.
You come on here spouting off that CDJ800's are coz they don't auto beatmatch & the tracks won't "lock" long enough for you. You say you find making pitch adjustments annoying. Why do you bother mixing or DJing if the basics irritate you? It's like Michael Schumacher moaning his F1 car doesn't have an auto gearbox, electric windows or air con. Why didn't you try the 800's before you bought em?
Email Pio with your beef & tell them all about your findings - sounds like their quality control/research & development departments really ed up when they released the CDJ800...

Anyone heard about the new cdj800mk2s, they're the talk of the day!! I just got them and they are amazing, I can beatmatch so easily with them!!
Also the platter has a better feel and it is almost just like the 1000!:eek: |

The funniest part was when I read, 'how am i supposed to EQ and keep making adjustments to the platter?'
damn boy all I can say is you're lucky you didn't learn on technics because as a perfectionist you'd be forced to ride the pitch which in essence would mean you'd have to keep a hand on the pitch fader at all times try to EQ doing that junior |
