Jealousy....

So... I have never been the jealous type. I always figure, "meh, he's coming home with me later. Some floosie trying to hit on my boy wont change that".
I still think this, but for some reason, with my new boy, I find myself getting these minor, but still existing, bouts of jealousy. I never act on it, or say/do anything, but I still feel this irritation.
Saturday night my boy and I went to the bar to meet up with some friends. Some girl came up to my boy, hugged him, and proceeded to chat to him. I was out of earshot.
I could tell this girl was into him, and I didn't know who she was, so I decided to come over and introduce myself. Anyway, I could tell she didn't like me *the girlfriend snub*, and I could tell she was all about my guy. It REALLY pissed me off. I wanted to tell the little bitch to off.
The weird part is, like I said, I have never been the jealous type, and my boy wasn't responding well to her or anything. In fact, he was very reassuring *put his hand on me when talking to her*.
He told me later that they used to work together, and she was always trying to get with him. I could sense that.
Anyway... I am wondering if you other ladies are like this? I have NEVER experienced this protective/jealous feeling before, so I don't know whether I should let it bother me, or if it's a normal thing to get aggravated. |

| Occasionally, but never seriously. My husband won't walk out on me with someone else without telling me first, and if that's what he wants, so be it. |

i never really get jealous
idk what it is
its definitely normal and to be expected (from both sides) early in a relationship though, i wouldn't worry about it
it just means you really like him :) |

It's a foreign response for me... like I said, I am not one to let that really bother me, but for some reason, I was seathing on Saturday. Her dismissing me probably added fuel to the fire. Stupid bitch.
LOL! |

hah you're adorable when you're angry
seriously though, if anything, i'd read that as a sign of endearment
as long as the jealousy isn't harboring any negative affects, it shouldn't really be a problem
out of curiosity, if he explained who she was and checked if you'd mind if they got lunch sometime just the two of them to catch up, what would you say? |

I know exactly how you feel, T. I've only felt this way once before...and it wasn't my bf I felt it towards...it was the stupid whore who clearly got off on knowing it was bothering me. I can't stand disrespectful scandalous whores like that. Cunt. |

Ermm... I would say "why would you want to go to lunch with a girl who clearly wants in your pants to catch up, when you don't even like her that much to begin with?"
Then depending on his response.. I might say that I cared, or didn't care.
But seriously... why would he want to go to lunch with her? I would hope that he wouldn't be a dumbass in the first place about something like that.
Jen... it IS the little bitches. They are so evil! They just love to see the girlfriend all pissed off, and "innocently" flirt with your boy.
Oh!! She said to him "why don't you visit me at work anymore?"
I was so tempted to be like... "because most of the time he is busy with me you little ho bag."
Gah! |

| Yeah well, some bitches need to hit on other chicks' bf's...cause they're either too lazy or not good enough to catch one of their own, so really, I feel sorry for them. Poor skanks. |

here's the trick part...this is only if he asks you. if he goes ahead without asking your opinion or anything, then yeah say that. but if he asks you if you'd mind, then its obvious he acknowledges it might hurt your feelings, and then just be honest and say what you think
still, i wouldn't sulk over it or anything :) |

I seriously doubt he would... but if he did want to, I would tell him straight up that I didn't like the chick, and that it would bug me, but I am not his owner or anything, so if he wants to, he is more than welcome.
One thing I will never be is controlling. I will be honest about how I feel, but I will never demand someone to do what I want them to do if they want to otherwise (with the exception of the bedroom ;)). |
