Agree, there is only a few tracks worth it, like Rio Addicts new one (which I haven't heard but I am sure it will be released within the next 6 months) and that First State track. I agree, the rest is ASOT-pop garbage, not trance. It shouldn't be called "A State of Trance", more like "A State of Pop".

I believe Armin was asking for trance artists to submit their works to him for this album. It doesn't look like there was that many on the tracklist.

I'm glad to see the remake of I Am on there, but I'm shocked Megashira didn't make it :( (Yes its been out for a while, but its a big tune so far). And as for Ascent... idk... i thought 1 remake per release was enough (though it is more upbeat than A&B's ):crazy:
