it's right after the scene where he goes to accept the best male model award, only it was for hansel. and then he's walking along the streets of new york all sad, and he sees his reflection in a puddle on the street and he's like, "who am i"? and then his phone rings and it's that old jewish guy and zoolander is like, "god?"

| It's one of my fave comedies ever. Really silly and slapstick but it's a good larf. :p I love Mugatu's camp/gay ways and when he calls Hansel a "hot potato" lol. The bit where Derek and Hansel are trying to figure out the computer is just great (relates to a Space Odyssey). |

it's easy to think this way without much accomplishment in a young life. in the future. looking at your children, your children's children, the business you help set up and run for generations on, that movie you were in that got an award, teaching that one student that went on to harvard, etc. we can't live forever, but we have the power to leave a mark on this world through our life's choices and actions. it's not so much striving, but accomplishing, that matters. without accomplishment we are nothing.

it's not money, it's what money brings. i think all of us want to live life comfortably. for example i don't give a if i'm rich or not, but i do have lavish tastes and lead an expensive lifestyle, and definitely like to dress well and drive something decent. yes it's materialistic, but i don't value myself by my possessions or think that it makes me a better human being. i don't buy by brand but by the look and the comfort (feel... better cotton/material/etc.) of the things that i buy. i would rather have leather in my car, i would rather wear mavi jeans (cuz damn they'z soft!), i would rather sleep on a 1200 thread-count bedsheet, unfortunately these things don't come cheap.

if things were so simple life would be a breathe. however, we leave legacies, heritages, and traditions. we continue our cultural/religious beliefs and leave them with our children and followers... hell even friends and co-workers. we are social beings, absorbing and striving for interaction with others. taking advantage of such a wonderful skill as communication and passing on your thoughts/feelings/emotions to others is one of the greatest gifts anyone could ask for. a ing tiger doesn't have it as good as we do... nor a shark... a ing shark!

you might, you MIGHT as well... anyway - absolutely you don't want to die with regrets. but those who don't have any regrets aren't ing human in the first place. everyone makes bad choices and reflects upon those of past. it's inevitable that we question ourselves because i think every human being is his/her own harshest critic. as mentioned before - success is judged by accomplishments. ACCOMPLISHMENTS. it's not the amount of money you make, or the number of children you have, or the quantity of asses you put your dick in (23, w00t it's jordanrific) but it is the QUALITY of the accomplishments you've presented to this world and the legacy/i forget what other word i used/heritage that you leave behind.

i can't speak for others. but i've always pursued my goal. i've managed to balance three careers so far and i know i can be successful in each one of them. my problem is not doing what i want to do, or pursuing my goals, or any of that . my problems is that i have too many passions in my life and succeed in every one of them. sooner or later it's going to be too much to handle and i will have to pick/decide which one i want to focus on... that will be the darkest day of my life because i will end up losing something i love in order to reach my potential in another. however i don't mind, and i'm already pretty sure of what my choice will be. but it will be like 1/3 of my life TORN from me. i've loved and lost women, pets, family members (granted all in different ways... you ing sickos i know you're gonna focus on this) but yes as they've come and gone i've remained pretty much unphazed. i know, i ing KNOW, when that moment comes when i have to decide between passions, i will become a completely different person... and maybe finally mature

i could relate to the computer scene made it that much funnier. this fall i was trying scan something with one of the new imacs that the school just got. i'm very tech savvy and the teacher, a student and i couldn't figure out how to turn on the computer. i had to go home and ask on the apple forum where it was. :stongue: |

i did. but mac has a history of doing things for aesthetic purposes. the power button is white (the same as the case) so you can't see it, its located in the lower left corner on the back of the monitor, and its flat, not sticking out so you can't feel it with your fingers. |

I have this badass boxy monitor instead of a Mac related one (I'm too poor to upgrade at the moment) but it's 15" and does the job well and has a big button at the front. When you press it, it switches on the tower (G5) as well the screen. Pretty handy. |

But I dunno...seems to me that things like art and music originated as imitations of natural vibrations or images, so the creation is not necessarily our own, in the first place...but perhaps the same can be said about God?
