Agreed. The opening for Tiesto is beyond ridiculous. I'm amazed that people are not over this guy. But, when TIC gets here, it will sell out, I'm sure... Hence further massaging an already over inflated ego

Does he actually play somewhere or is just a National Geographic special?

i think that your definition of what is called a cheesy intro is not just with tiesto, but with other "big" dj's as well .. this also includes big events in europe such as sensation white.

OK OK OK, Tiesto wins. He's the epic-ist.
Looks like the order of events in the universe was:
1. Big Bang
2. Evolution of Life
3. Tiesto

No question. I'm certain that these intros are commonplace at the massives and I would expect nothing less from them, Tiesto or not. And I love to go to those! :D I'm admittedly biased against the new Tiesto brand. I'm being maudlin but I just prefer the Tiesto of the first three ISOS albums and even further back, Gouryella.
Having said that, I am sure everyone had a great time at Coachella and if I was there, I would have as well. It's the energy from your friends/crowd that really makes the event along with great music, after all.

It's a great pic! Thank you and please keep sharing. :) I just couldn't help myself because it perfectly depicts Tiesto as being larger than life. When I get my copy of "Elements of Life" and if it's good, I'd be willing give him another chance when he's in town. I won't keep drumming this point any further. ;)

LOL. Well done. All it needed was some jungle noise in the background... and maybe a clip from the first 5 minutes of "2001: Space Odyssey".

Yes, sensation did the whole elements thing a few years back, the sets were great but I HATED those cheesy ass intros, and this was back when I was a 100% trance head. Now that I think of it, this is really almost a straight rip-off of that. :wtf: Especially if you check that Elements of Life show he did in London's tracklist with a new element intro every hour.

No, even National Geographic narrators dont have that "Movie Preview Voice"
Pablo Francisco should cover Tiesto's intro :stongue:

Is he playing the intro from Captain EO on the screen? I swear that's what happens in the beginning of that flick.
