| Hatred? Someone needs to brush up on their reading comprehension. I even thanked the man, for crying out loud! Just because I can't stand listening to his music, and agree with many other people that extended sets aren't his strong point, doesn't mean I harbor any ill will towards the man. |

I'm sure Armin is a nice guy, but that doesn't change the fact that there is nothing unique about his music, lol
But that aside, the main point is that people have been looking forward for Giant Village since last summer. It really isn't cool that it's going to be a trance event. It doesn't cater to all crowds.
I have a feeling there will be a better event going on that same night ;), and luckily, all the teenager e-tards will be @ Armin. |

I totally understand your point Julia, however you've been around the scene for a few years now and you should know by now that the only one thing Giant caters too is the ol' MIGHTY Dollar!!!

I think this is the exact opposite of the truth. I know we all have different tastes in EDM, but I don't see how this point has any validity.

I don't label my music by genre. I label it by Good music or Bad music regardless of the genre. Before I used to limit myself to only certain types of music...that was before I knew any better! :)LOL

Exactly. I like different songs from different EDM genres and I don't understand why people feel it is necessary to restate their dislike for a particular one over and over again. Some people don't like trance and that is fine, but it's just a downer when people are posting negative comments about the DJ or music genre in a thread that was created by people who are excited and looking forward to it. |

How else can someone rationalize their feelings of superiority?
That attitude is something I grew out of years and years ago. I'm not even bothered by teenage e-tards (just make your e-pile away from the dance floor please).
But I can understand the disappointment of Giant Village being trance only if you had been looking forward to hearing other stuff there. |
