There is no need for the totally new thread. Like I said in my first post, I just assumed that if they are not excited or show an interest in an event they would simply not pay attention to it and move on. People are going to disagree with each person's personal tastes and that is not scary. People are also never going to like all of the same music, so what good does it do be negative over and over again on the same topic that will never benefit from that type of discussion?
Yes, there will always be people that will feel that they have to say something on every thread (your example of adding why they are going to something when the post title is about who's not going) but I think the difference is that in that case, people would be trying to promote a more positive message of maybe trying to show them that maybe so and so's style has changed and they in fact may be interested in going now.
I'm just trying to promote a more positive tone, but like Clovis said it's beginning to sound like complaining about complaining so I'll drop it :)

Nothing new here. There will always be people complaining about any events. I remember reading about the Giant NYE party how ppl were complaining they wish it was all house/proggy and they can do without Armin/Ferry blah blah... YOu can't really satisfy everyone all the time and there's no such thing as a perfect lineup. maybe next year it will be all house and some trance heads will be bitching then lol

I don't remember anybody complaining about AvB and Ferry at Giant New Year's.

EDC, ARMIN EVENT, AND Tiesto... along with the Circus and Red events... I say, this is going to be a great summer... and I only mean a good summer for me, so no need to trash my interest in the events I choose to go to....lol.
Trance is Trance & House is House... what ever makes you feel good is all that matters. Choose your preference and buy the tix! Thats all...
