im speechless.

really don't even know what to say...

but as for the facts / news:

i have recently befriended Jelo, really great / talented guy whos given me some diretion lately on handling things on the canadian side, so expect some cool things to happen from that...

also in the news, i have switched over to 24twentyfour Management in the UK... Chris Lake, Seb Leger, Fanciulli, Zeb... all managed by the same team as well, and im just recently joining their team to make some good things happen... but im also very keen on staying put in Toronto to help put canada back on the map as far as the techno / house music scene goes.

as for my latest work, you can check out my last release (as BSOD) on our new label "Xfer Records" here: www.beatport.com/BSOD the 4 track EP called "played out"... very bouncy / dirty electro house co-produced by my partner in crime Steve Duda from LA, who is also a very talented engineer / producer...

and not to mention lots of new deadmau5 releases coming soon as well as the official (and proper) rerelease of Faxing Berlin as well as an equally decent B side... which will all be handled by 24twentyfour... so.. thats all in the works as of late...

again, thank you all for the positive remarks and support... it's really amazing to see my craft become developed and recognized... also very inspirring to keep them coming!

bumpin' this thread!

listening to the set that was posted. I Love how Deadmau5 can put out a set with %100 of his own tunes, and they're all relatively new.

Thanks for the set :)

Dood. I think you should relese an artist album. how many qality tracks have you released in the last year?

it's always been a big pet peeve how electronic producers (general statement not directed at Deadmau5) put out a few tracks here and there, and over the course of a year, they'll have like 4 tracks out. When rock bands drop albums all the time...with all original stuff. I'd love to see more of that in the electronic scene...like MSTRKRFT's recent cd they put out.

Deadmau5!!! give us an album!!!
I guess "play here to click" is pretty much what I'm asking for. lol. I just don't get a case, and liner-notes.

I think that has to do more with the market then the producers. There just isn't as big of a market dance music as their is rock/pop/etc... and among dance music fans there just isn't that much of a market for artist albums with the exception of a select few producers.

so ya.. singles are bigger money makers for labels.

at least that's what I think :p

i wonder how mr.deadmau5 is doing with all of his chart topping beatport hits?

I think the best i've seen out there (by EDM producers) is releasing a full 'album', that consists of various productions. Each track costs the usual $1.99, or $2.99 - but gives you a decent discount if the whole release is purchased.

are they all on the same label? otherwise licensing would be a nightmare...

that's a pretty unfair comparison, as Evan said completely different markets...

great job man, to work on a label with zeb alone is a dream comtrue let alone nic and fking mr. god of electro leger himself

imagine the tweaks and effects and little hints and tricks you gonna learn just by sitting behind zeb while he is killing it on ableton..
