it'll be 2 years this July, but he knows i don't care for flowers, so he surprises me with other fun gifts instead. ;)
my biggest issue with flowers is that they die. i think that's a terrible way to symbolize your love for someone. they're also pretty unoriginal and generic, and i'm just not a generic kind of gal. i like being surprised with stuff that shows me my boyfriend really knows me. that's 100 times more meaningful than a bouquet of flowers, regardless of how nice they are. |

while i do agree every girl still thinks its nice to get once in a while.
a friend of mine had an ex bf give her flowers once...he said he would love her till the last one dies...one was fake. :) |

I like getting them because they look pretty , I usally buy them myself to put on my kitchen table or in the living room. |

if i was going to get flowers, i'd want live ones in a pot.. or some other sort of plant. something that i can keep around for a while.
