For V-Day last year, I bought a huge picnic basket. I mean like a $40 one…the typical yogi bear kind. Haha I wanted to have the full picnic effect. So yea, I didn’t tell him what we were doing, but on the morning of valentine’s day, I woke up really early while he was still sleeping and went to the grocery store and bought champagne (complete with 2 crystal champagne glasses I borrowed from my mom), strawberries, fresh mozzarella, shrimp cocktail and sushi and stuffed the basket with all that stuff, including flowers and an “I Love You” balloon that I tied to the handle of the basket and then I came back to his place and brought it in the room and there was a card in there and the food obviously and some gag gifts and I was like, “get ur bathing suit on we’re going to the beach”
And we went to a secluded area in key Biscayne and sipped champagne on the beach and ate all that yummy food. It was really romantic. |
