so whats the general consensus on giving flowers? say you hollering at a girl and things are smooth, dropping her flowers is too much or a special thought?
reason why i ask is, i'm not all the romantic type, i'm actually more of the real lets just chill and get our grooves on. So please hold the banter, but the fact that i'm even considering shows that she isn't any other bird on the block.
i want to give something nice like that but....the man in me is like quit sweating her...probably the pitfall some men fall into and also probably the hope that most girls have that maybe one day a guy would do that and set his pride aside...

The flowers (to me) don't actually mean . It's what they symbolize, which is that he's thinking about me/wants to woo me. Pretty simple. Who doesn't want to feel that way or know that their partner feels that way?
edit: it's gotta be sincere though. Stuff like that means even less if it isn't heartfelt. |

Brian - if i were you i'd draw/paint her a graffiti flower, maybe with her name or something else that is special or meaningful to the both of you. it's way more personal and it's something she can keep around for a long time.

too serious for me lol...although i do owe her a door piece which was from 2years ago that she asked me to do. i think its come to a time in my life where relationships need meaning or i dont want to waste my time. and this one...kinda has meaning yet has obstacles uncontrolled by me. so as a kind gesture I thought flowers, but then i thought...too soft b, it's not me!
like i feel like im tryin to be someone im not and i dont want to give that up.
is there something you girls can receive without making it into something more yet borders the line of oh that's nice of him...and nothing more LOL |

That's just it, everyone is different. What works for one girl may not work for another.
That's why it's good to get personal...it'll show her that you know HER wants/desires/whatever...instead of generic romantic crap that any old Joe could have given to any old gal. |

i guess lets just say im tryin to give her a 'send off' in a good way but with a not so good connotation.
it aint happening between us cuz of our situations yet i dont want to dead her like she was never there for me...or i could just play along and keep the string dragging but then i feel ed up lol |

ahhh i think you're thinking too hard about it! giving her a piece of art you scribbled doesn't have to be that serious... i mean it can be if you make it out to be that way, or it can just be simple and cute. then again i don't know the girl or your situation with her so it's hard to speculate.
honestly what's most important is how you give it to her, not what you're actually giving her. |
