that sucks dude. obviously, not the wisest of decisions on your part, but i'm sure at the time it felt pretty ing good - especially to see him fall to the floor. but, like all things in life, you have to pay the consequences and are now no longer allowed there.
meh, i think you'll get over it. besides, i'm sure there are other malls around anyway. |

I'm a small, not too built kid and usually I get people saying the usual "man you're so anorexic eat something!". It gets old after about a year of it happening. Anyways, on with the story:
I was going to see 28 Weeks Later at 7:25pm tonight with a friend, usually I'd go on a Friday but I was tied up at work at my dads autobody shop. So the day was going well, went fishing in the morning then just relaxed at home and smoked and watched a couple movies.

All is going pretty well for now. We leave for a sec and I go grab my phone from my car because I always carry it on my no matter where I go, just in case the movie gets boring I can play arkanoid! So, we're walking back and we get into the mall walking towards the theater. Before the entrance to the theater itself is a spot where a bunch of wannabee thugs tend to have their chill spot at later hours at all. We stopped at the dunkin' donuts inside the mall and my friend was getting a couple cups for slushies since our other friend works at the booth where they sell popcorn and food ect. but they take a stock quota of all cups used in case some employee tries giving it away for free. With cups though, they won't know!
I told my pal I'm going to get us seats since it was around 7:15, so I start walking a bit and pass the corner,only 2 kids were standing there this time, I could tell they didn't like me for some odd reason but I disregarded that, kept walking. After a little bit passing them they start walking behind me and start laughing and start saying the infamous words: "Ya you in' f4ggot nice shirt, keep walking you in' queer. Hope you burn in in' hell you ing f4ggot."
I never pay attention to that because they just tend to be idiots without a future that give others . I stop over by where my friend is working at the store called "Journeys" and check outside to see if he's there, and he wasn't. So as I start walking one of the kids who I doubt was even out of middle school, possibly a freshman walks into my face and says "IN' F4GGOT" and pushes me towards the wall. I'm basically speech-less since I have no cause in fighting, I'm neither gay or bi nor do I take offence to that.
I wanted to just walk away from it, I told the kid, "Listen I don't know you, I don't want trouble nor do I want anyone to get hurt, I don't get what your cause is in this?" In genius terms the white kid wearing baggy-pants and cubic zirconia earings says "YOU WEARIN' A PINK SHIRT YOU IN' FLAMING SACK OF FAG ."
I'm appauled, are people still this ing dull? I say "What does that have to do with anything, you have no clue about me or who I am?" The kid doesn't say anything, smirks and shoves his hand against my face pushing my against the wall again and starts walking up with the usual gangster thug walk saying "Ya, what you gonna do, get the out my mall you in' f4ggot."
I usually have a really long temper and have never engaged in any physical combat unless it was under training. I took Kung-Fu and Judo since I was around 7, started with basic karate and as I got older moved towards learning new forms and later on quitting being taught by someone and purchased a handful of books on Jeet Kune Do and did that on my own for about half a year.
Anyways back to the story, as he pushed me I noticed that there weren't any mall cops where they'd usually be. I tried persuading the kid out of it saying, "Listen how about we just both mind our own business and move along?". The kid this time shoves me one more time with full force, losing balance and I nearly fall to the ground. It's like when you're hit by something with a certain amount of force and you're running backwards till you either fall or get harnessed by something. I end up cushioning back against the wall a few feet away and what it seems to be the kid walking towards me at an elevated rate with his jaw clenched.
As he's walking I see a few mall cops by the corner talking to eachother and grinning not paying any regard to whats going on. As the kid gets near me I don't even hesitate, and after all the I was being given and through all the false claims I lose my cool and knock the kid right in the ing face with my right hand and then palm strike him in the chest to make sure he fell flat on the ground.
I then back away from it and see what his friend does, the other kid screams at the cops and says "WHAT THE ? This kid just assaulted my friend". Cops rush over and try restraining me and take me outside. Start asking me questions but don't even ing listen to my side of the story and basically fall for the other kids story claiming there wasn't any clear evidence from anyone else that would link my story TRUE but the other kids companion (who said they didn't start any ).
I feel embarrased as I shouldn't have struck the kid. I don't think I'd do it even in more desperate circumstances, I just lost my cool and didn't think.
What really struck me is how ing ignorant and arrogant people still are. Do colors and clothing REALLY make that much of a difference that you want to pick a fight with someone? I could have been stabbed for all I ing know, never know what these idiots have on them these days, pretending to be members of gangs and all that other bull.
But I somewhat think I made a good decision in a sense too. Although I have a court hearing next week for this incident (what the ?)
By the way for those who want to know, I'm 18, about 5'10 and weighing around 125-130. I'm not built, I eat healthy and jog daily and practice agility and endurance. Thats about it.

Really, once the kid pushed you, blow it out of proportion so you draw the cops attention. Claim he broke your femur, or something. Then the cops should ban them, not you. If all else fails, then you proceed to retaliate - you'd have everyone's attention by now, and you could have more witnesses backing up your claims of self-defence ;) |

wtf is up with mall violence anyhow? must be a US thing. I watched a doco on wallmart and how it's the devil corporation sucking the life out of mum and dad businesses across the states. Anyways there was a bit about how there's so much violence in the wallmart car parks and their security (what security?) measures are less than adequate. |

That sucks. Next time you see the kid, go harass him on purpose.
Just get them to replay the evidence on camera. If they don't have it, complain to management about how the guards saw the start but did nothing, then failed to listen to you.
Then go find the kid again and bring a baseball bat.
Interesting experience though. No one ever picks on me :( It's not fair... |
