Well, most clubs just aren't profitable after 2am becuase of serving time. And this is from a bussiness standpoint and known fact. In my opinion setting the age at 21 is great. So far it's keeping all the ecstacy babies out who take up the whole dance floor with the wavy arms and bump in to everyone. And it's not just Avalon that's gone a bit down since 2003, its a lot of clubs or even cities. In fact, Avalon is one of the few that's kept the same name for so long. And who cares if the the people don't know the dj. A lot of people go for the dancing. That's how you get to know a dj, live, not on your pc. Most dj's are completley different in there sets. You didn't expect to know everyone off the bat right? Let some people get to know them... |

| Well Ive seen PVD at Axis/Avalon more than any other DJ since I started going around 96. So its fitting that he will be the guy that closes out the place for me with a special 4 hour set. Its truly the end of an era. The place has had its up and downs but Ive had some truly life changing times there and I know that music wouldnt be so much of who I am if it wasnt for Axis and Avalon. I will truly miss those clubs and I cant wait for PVD to set the place on fire!!! |

man, i thought PVD killed it... (i got in RIGHT as he was coming on w/ that intro track he played) - that was really one of the craziest sets i've ever heard in my life... crazy techno and trance with a bit of electro... i'm very glad i attended this |
