| we dont have tech personnel. it's a boutique law firm with 2 attorneys and 2 assistants. he does everything himself and he's an idiot. he acts like he knows what he's doing, but half the time i'm telling him how to fix his settings and all that crap and I'M an idiot with that . lol |

What is UP with that? I used to work in a place where you couldnt change ANYTHING. It doesnt seem like a big deal but it kind of is. Its like a constant reminder that "this really isnt your office and this really isnt your computer." |

| well my boss is a giant moody vagina. he bitches about downloading stuff but i don't listen to him. i delete my cookies and scan for spyware. i work too in hard for him to tell me i can't have a picture of a ferrari as my desktop. he can kiss my ass. lol |

yeah there are popups on TA when you're not logged in, especially that huge pop up ad that you said. but i don't think the trojan/virus came from that ad. it most probably was inflicted from another site
/redundancy
as for browsing at work, i have virtual machines, so if i screw up, and catch an e-std, i have the revert button. :) |

| Highly unlikely that you'd get a virus by one of these ads just popping up. As already mentioned, you likely already had it. |

Hahahaha my work is cool, they allow us to download stuff. As long as we don't download anything bad were are ok. My desktop wallpaper is of a technics tonearm. I get weird looks, but screw them. |
