Yea but I'm one of those typical chicks with computers. I need someone there pointing to things on the computer and actually showing me what to do.
Funny story. I recently got DSL and went to go install everything…it’s made for 2 years olds so I figured it'd be easy. I'm not THAT retarded on computers.
Well, my friend (he’s really good on computers) insisted I don’t install the software first, but rather hook everything up, bla bla bla. So he said to do that and he’d come over in a bit to get me all squared away. I bought a wireless router by the way. So yea, he sold out, so I attempted to get it running myself. I have no ing clue what I did, but there’s wires everywhere and I finally got us connected and then my mom looks at me and goes, “I thought it was supposed to be wireless” and I was like, “yea me too”
Started laughing our asses off. |

i have the yellow ethernet cable plugged directly into the computer from the modem i think. that's the only way i can get connected. |
