It's been there for a week? The worst I've had is losing it in the back of my eye for an hour, then it turned up in the corner of my eye, in two pieces, ripped apart.

Go to a doctor for sake...

I had a piece of soft contact lense in my eye for 5 years, since 1999!!!! My optometrist said he has never heard of that happening. But it did to me! I remember it ripping when I was trying to take it out, but after I couldn't find it for a week, decided I must be mistaken. So I didn't really think about it anymore. During the time, I had my eyes checked and dilated a few times, and went back to wearing my gas permeable contacts. My optometrist never mentioned a thing. Then one night in 2004, I was watching TV, and I felt like I had something in my eye. I went to the mirror, and there it was....a piece of contact lense!!! I finally got it out...after all that time!!! SO if you do get a contact stuck behind your eye...it isn't going to kill you!!! I was only trying the soft contacts at the time, and immediately went back to my gas permeable which I love!

every time I've thought this happened, I just waited for a while and didn't notice anything. I think it just fell out and I didn't notice. Either that or I have about 10 contacts behind my eyes.

I was considering changing from glasses to contacts.. does this sort of happen all that much? :nervous:

no, and only if you leave them on too long.

not really because the word "someone" doesnt imply a gender, whereas "he" implies that the person is of the male sex. "they're" is gender agnostic. :)
