ok david chase is a sucker end of story
here are the other 2 different endings they did and i though they were gonna use atleast one of them
only part i liked was when tony went to see uncle junior and he saw for himself that hes really sick and started to cry and it shows he still loves him...
ENDING 1
k., this is gonna shock some of you. belive what you want to belive, but these are stone cold facts.
the idea behind the sopranos started with the ending, david chase has been quoted as saying the entire show spawn of a sick and twisted ending that he couldnt get out of his head. with that said< that ending has been delayed for 3 seasons< so any plot of ade, oh god am I going to miss the ade speculation, or any other filler matieral being important is wrong. The show is about the sopranos, if one family doesnt kill him the other one will.
Anyways on to the spoilers. Carm blows up, as in kaboom over with no time to speculate that we didnt see her head blow off, burnt to a crisp good old fashion remote control bomb. It is witnessed by aj and meadow, who are on there way to a safe house, at this point aj finaly steps up, knowing his father is outmatched with little muscle left. I can hear you all ready saying aj couldnt kill himself how the hell can he kill someone else. this has been in his destiny, he will help his father. Meadow will fade to black as tony orders her off with janice and she ggives him a mouthfull about how she knew he killed that man when they went to college s1 ep 5? and he is the devil, blah blah blah. that will be the end of meadow and janice. Tony and his lowly crew with new members aj, and pat jr. will develop a plan, Tony is called to a sit down with a mafia boss we have never met or ever heard of, which I felt was kinda lame, and tony smells it out. paulie walnuts comes up with the info of where phil is (some cabin) and sends benny and aj to handle it. benny kills phil at a gas station, also alternate version of aj killing phil was left on the cutting board. Tony and paulie wipe out the remaing crew, with only carmine jr. remaing to deal with after aget harris plays him a tape of carmine and phil discussing why the hit on tony didnt go down when carmine brought him to phils houe ( phils voice saying cooler heads have prevailed was phil telling carmine the hit was off) when aj returns his father is ready for a father son mafia moment and aj is having none of it, agent harris who is acting on intelegence that tony is going to kill carmine goes to discourage him, and walks in on AJ with glock loaded pointed at tony. he tells tony that he killed his mom, bobby, jackie jr, and god knows who else and the killing stops today. before he can squeese the trigger angent harris fires a shot and hits aj in the chest, tony screams and runs to aj who dies in his arms simalar to after his sucide attempt. in the end tony is by himself, no where to go. The final scene is meli reading it all in a newspaper at a ice cream parlor. the end.
This is the real stuff ladies and gents, get your tissues ready cause this one is a tear jerker
ENDING 2
Made in America" is the 86th episode and the series finale of the HBO original series, The Sopranos. It is the ninth episode of the second half of the show's sixth season. The episode was written and directed by the show's creator David Chase, marking the first time Chase has directed an episode since the series premiere. It is due to air on Sunday June 10, 2007. David Chase is said to have shot three different endings in case spoilers found their way on the internet.
The episode opens at a gas station in upstate New york a couple pull up to a pump in a red Cadillac. It is revealed to be Phil and Patty Leotardo. Phil gets out and begins to fill his tank when Benny Fazio approaches him from behind and shoots him twice in the head. Benny runs and gets into a sedan driven by Patsy Parisi and the two speed off as an african american youth onlooker throws up. We see see Tony Soprano, Paulie Walnuts, Carlo Gervasi, and Dante Greco playing cards in the safehouse from the prior episode. Tony gets a call from Benny on a payphone. He says "The Shaw's gone," and hangs up. Tony get up and motions for Paulie to follow. The two get into his Escalade after putting his AR-10 inot the backseat. The two drive to Satriales and sit outside all the while discussing days past in Johnny Boy Sopranos heyday. Paulie is working on his tan and Tony is smoking a cigar when a black Cadillac sedan approaches. Little Carmine Luperatazzi exits the backseat while the car drives around the corner. They seat themselves across from Tony and Paulie and begin to discuss recent affairs. After many malaprosims from Carmine and some moronic rambling from Paulie Tony laughs and interjects saying he is proud to be present at the first sit down between the new bosses of New Jersey and Brooklyn. Paulie and Carmine both appear shocked and Tony tells them its long over due and Paulie has been passed up too many times. Tony leaves the two and goes inside to speak with Agent Harris. Who is seen sitting in the back corner. Harris acknowledges Carmines presence and asks if hes to take that Carmine's the new boss of Brooklynn Tony tells him to, "Take whatever the *beep* you want and take one last Veal Parm Hero on the house." We now see AJ, Carmella, and Meadow in a motel room. A knock on the door prompts Carmella to remove a .45 automatic from her purse and walk to the door and ask whos there? Meadow reading the paper and AJ watching t.v. are both scared. After a long silence a familiar voice say's "A loving father and husband." Carmella opens the door and Tony and Paulie enter they all leave and go back to Casa De Soprano. After arriving home Janice Pulls up, leaves her kids there and her and Tony leave. Leaving Paulie to guard their respective families. The two arrive at a state hospital where they enter one at a time to talk to their Uncle Junior. Janice goes first and the two discuss moving him out of the hospital and Tony comes in to talk with him. The two make small talk until the shooting comes up. Junior apoligizes and said he was out of his head and that he always loved Tony even when he didnt show it. Tony and Janice return home around night fall and Tony and Paulie leave again Carmella is worried and Tony tells her not to worry this is the last time he will be leaving like this. Paulie and Tony are sitting in his car at night in an empty parking lot as the snow is falling discussing Paulies promotion Tony says he will be happy to be Consigliere to Paulie. When headlights shine upon them. The two get out and walk toward a parked SUV. When Butch DeConcini and Albie Cianflone exit it and walk toward them. They discuss peace and Tony tells the that if ran under Carmine, Brooklyn could expect no porblems from them. They shake hands and Tony suggests a drink to celebrate. Tony walks back to his car and opens the backseat. Tony pulls out a large object covered in a black plastic garbage bag. Paulie runs off to the side and throws himself down and Albie and Butch pull ot pistols but are too late when the garbage bag erupts with machine gun fire. Tony helps Paulie out of the snow and the two admire the AR-10 and two dead bodies. Tony looks the gun over and admires a phrase written on the stock. "Made In America." The two then drive away. We see the Soprano home at daylight the next day Carmella is in the bathtub, Meadow is asleep, and AJ is unlocking the hidden gun closet in an indoor column. he removes something and then goes outside. We see the pool once again uncovered yet empty and AJ is sitting in the botton holding a hand grenade. He pulls the pin out and holds the handle he hesitates and throws it to the other end of the pool it blows up dirtying him. Carmella comes outside with her .45 and nearly shoots her son. Tony arrives to see him sitting on the couch being questioned AJ says it was so cool. Tony laughs and writes it off and tells everyone to get in the car. Carmella asks where there going and Tony replies, Out for ice cream. We see a number of things in the final scene Paulie the surviving Jersey crew with Carmine and his crew having dinner together and toasting the two's promotions. Silvio's heartbeat monitor going flat. Janice in a small home with her three kids appearing miserable. Agent Harris arresting the two muslims from the Bada Bing apparently making bombs. Pat Blundetto breaking Junior out of the state hospital.Dr. Jennifer Melfi Smiling alone in her office while reading about the recent gangland slayings and Anthony Sopranos apparent stepping down as boss. Finally we see Tony and his immediate family together at an ice cream parlor.Tony then tells his family that hes no longer depressed and that being with his family and them being safe was better than all the therapists and Prozac in the world. It just took all this *beep* to make him see it. AJ says he's happy just to be alive and that hes snapped out of it aswell. Tony proposes a toast to his family mirroring the season one finale "I Dream Of Jeannie Cusamano".

I just typed a whole buncha crap and somehow it didn't post... grrr... well I loved the ending, I'm glad AJ didn't end up being a little bitch. God his new girl is smokin hot.
I loved the contrast between Tony and the FBI dude who's named I can never remember. How they're like the same person, playing on different 'teams.'
Great show, I'm really sad it's over. |

I've reflected on this for a day before commenting... At first I felt like I had just been dumped; that plus my favorite football team lost the superbowl (and a pefect season) with seconds to go. Well, actually, at first I thought my cable had cut out, and I was about to throw the gaddam tv out the window.
But now that I think about it, that ending was near perfect. David Chase, throught the entire run of the Sopranos, kept us guessing. And, just when we thought we had the plot figured out, it would go in the opposite direction or completely change from what we had guessed would happen. I never saw this ending coming, and I was so built up emotionally for what the ending could have been (it could also have been the bottle of chianti I drank during the episode) that it left me totally drained. If that isn't a powerful bit of film, I invite you to show me something that is. Although I was expecting a Scarface-esque ending, I say salute to the finale. |

I got the answer.. I didn't write this, but it totally makes sense..
"from a guy in my office...
He was killed....
in fact, the ending was genius if you've paid attention to the show or are just a fan of well developed well thought out plots that all tie together and have the memory of a champ to remember it all
the ending was simple, he got killed, but let me tell yall why and explain in detail... There was 3 people in the room total who had a reason to kill tony.....
the two black guys, they were paid before to kill tony but he was only shot in the ear, this was in one of the earlier seasons,
also in the earlier seasons, the trucker who was sitting at the bar stool, who the camera kept focusing in on, is Nikki leotardo, Phil Leotardos nephew, he was in one of the early season episodes where Phil and Tony have a sit down....
heres where the genius comes in....
When tonys walking in the diner, you see the camera focus on him, then it switches to his perspective, and you see him looking @ the booth hes gonna sit at...
then the camera switches back to tonys face, then it once again switches to his perspective, and it shows him looking @ the door and looking @ the people come in..... Everytime the door opens the Chimes sound....... Carmela walks in, Chimes, AJ walks in Chimes, this when Meadows parallel parking, still trying to get inside the restaurant....
at this point the camera switches back to the trucker who goes in the bathroom......
Then it goes to a scene where meadow finally parks and starts running in the diner....
the doors about to open, Tony looks up....
and No Chimes......................
No Music............
Everything just goes black...............
In one of the early episodes of the sopranos, tonys talking with bobby about what it must feel like to die..
Bobby says "at the end, you probably dont hear anything, everything just goes black"
part of that was revisited in the second to last episode during the last seconds of it, when tonys about to go to sleep and he flashes back to the memory of him and bobby on the boat... "You probably dont hear anything everything just goes black"
so in the end, the Journey song was playing, the chimes on the door sounded but when meadow came in, the guy in the trucker hat came out and killed tony...
its the reason you aint hear, or see e when he died.... it was from his perspective.... and everything went black, then the credits rolled." |

| I thought the guy going to the bathroom was gonna put on a silencer come out and shoot up the whole table Killing the whole family :haha:  , I thought my cable ed up when it turned black it was a retarted ending , Dey should of shown him getting killing if he actually did get killed , plus He would really get shot in such a crowded resturant :conf: you would have to wack the whole place cause there would be so many witnesses , this ending made no sense to me even with that explanation jennifera gave us ;) It should of been better ... Even if the guy pulled out a gun with a mean face looking @ tony then it went dark , Ok then for sure I would be like yup he got killed but it cut off right at a normal moment I swear i thought my cable truely ed up after that I got 3 calls from 3 different friends saying IF i saw the end cause they thought there cable ed up too and I was like na it ends like that every was one pissed , said it was the worest ending ever . AJ talks such retarted omg that episode before this one was better :D |
