The Girl Next Door [or across the street]

So this morning, I was mowing my yard and started w/ the front one. So i'm going along, minding my own business when my neighbor from across the street pulls out of his driveway in his minivan and pulls up next to my lawn. he honks his horn, and i look over and he's waving me over there. so i stop, and go over there. it's the first time i've talked to him.
So he introduces himself, Tony, retiring from the Army, he's like 40 something years old and rather....well, fat. anyways, we're talking and out of nowhere he says,
"yeah, i've got an 18 year old daughter..." and he looks at me, and the first thing i think of was that he was going to tell me to stay away or something [i dunno why, it's not like i look like someone durty or something].
anyway, he proceeds,
"...and she's a real hellraiser".
instantly i think of those random parties i heard from across the street, and the random beer bottles that have ended up in my lawn and in the bed of my truck. and my eyebrow kinda lifts up.
"...so if she gives you any problems, just call the cops, she needs it".
so apparently i've got a "bad" girl living across the street. she's kinda cute, i mean, for an 18 year old. me personally, i don't really care for women much younger than me [six years is a big gap, i think, since i'm 24].
doubt i'll ever pursue anything, but its the first time i've ever had a "girl next door" .... let alone even on the same street (other than in college, but that doesn't really count, because, well it was a college neighborhood). although, every stereotype is that the girl next door is like the nice/down to earth one [or insanely georgous]....not the "bad girl" image that apparently i've got.
anyone ever go after that girl from the block/next door? |

Dad's a retired military man though so has the potential to do a bit of damage if he finds out.

you need to lay out a sun tanning chair on your front lawn, put some excessive sun tan lotion on your nose, and have a cooler full of beer with a hawaiian shirt on but unbuttoned.
and remember when she comes up to you, just say you are too drunk for yourself and offer her a beer..

Haha, I WAS the bad girl next door. People drove by my house every Friday to see if there was a party. Once when the cops showed up and tried to shut my party down I told them it was MY house and I'd do what I want. So they were like, "Oh yeah? Let's see your name on the deed then." And of course, I procured the deed to my house, with my name on it. So then they said, "Oh, well...try to keep the noise down and make sure nobody drives home." LoL.
Another time when our power got cut off and we needed a place to party, I plugged an extension cord into the neighbour's outside socket and ran it to a power bar, lol. |
