"Robot Rock" is pretty much Breakwater's track with vocoder lyrics on top of it.

I didnt think this track would get flamed THIS badly.

Take 2 steps out of the EDM industry and look at what Kanye has done with this track.

In a world where the commercial hip-hop that gets airplay is all about how amazing said beat being used is, Kanye really stepped out of the box and did something not done by many big names in this hip-hop industry, which is collaborate with a big artist in the EDM scene.

Perhaps you don't like the lyrical content, or the actual song itself, I don't care, but I give props to Kanye for actually working with Daft Punk on this, because he did more than just sample them.

Same here. The track might not be completely solid but it's listenable. First time I heard it it was being spun bootleg on some college radio stations hip hop hour, I liked enough to find out more about it.

Well coming from a person who likes mostly every type of music, I think this song is pretty good.

And before anyone says it's ripping off daft punk or whatever. Daft punk is credited, and in my opinion, I think this (even with no lyrics) sounds better then the original.

Also, Daft Punk is known for using other artists music in there samples as well.

Totally agree, it's a really nice production. I like how he switches back and forth between a simple four-to-the-floor in the chorus and a dirtier brakebeat in the verses. Also imo the hook he created with the vocoder samples is far more catchy then what can be heard in the original, which i don't think is anything special. I like the Neptunes remix however. I wouldn't be surprised if Pharrell told Kanye to check out Harder, Better... :thepirate

Like bas said, It's a shame because there's some awesome CG in the video clip, but... the songs .

Like it or not, this track has gotten Daft Punk a LOT of attention among my friends who never would have given them a second glance before. Now they're starting to get real interested in finding out more about "that techno stuff".

And for what it's worth, I kinda like the track. :p

compared to busta's "touch it" attempt, this song is the .

People amaze me. Yall do know that Daft Punk themselves helped Kanye in making the beat to Stronger?

But everyones jumping on Kanye for "murdering a Daft Punk song". Where was the outcry for Busta Rhymes "Touch It" or Ludacris "Ultimate Satisfaction" (albeit Luda sampled Benny)??

Hell Daft Punk is in Kanye's video for cryin out loud.

Yall really need to stop getting angry that Kanye took a great song in "Harder Longer Stronger Faster" and with Daft Punks help turned it into a club banger for hip hop. You know how many more people that exposes Daft Punk's sounds too???

Im pleased that hip hop is branching out to dance music for inspiration. Its unique to hear a differet spin on a great record.

I think Kanye did an incredible job with Daft Punk for Stronger.
