Cox always rocks it. I remember going to Gatecrasher and ministry of sounds Lotherton Hall annual event in 99. The year before had been one of the best nights of my life, so we travelled all the way up to Leeds again (from London) for the night, and my god did it suck. Sasha was on at 11pm and the tent was empty, there was no back check/cloakroom (unlike the year before) so the tents/dancefloors had bags all over the place, then when the big tents finally got busy all the Dj's were dilivering lacklustre performances. basically.

Then I went to the tent Cox was about to play in and it was relatively empty. He started and over the course of three hours, he mixed (and danced) house, rave, prog on three decks, to point the whole tent was jackin' to breaking point. It was a really personal interaction he had with whole crowd and at one point one of the needles inexplicably jumped across the entire vinyl making a massive screetch. He looked around to see what caused it, then realised his sweat from dancing so much had dripped on to the record making it jump, everyone saw it and he just laughed and shrugged and the crowd went mental.

He was the saviour of that night and there's a good reason many other people think soo too.

If I had a bad stomach I wouldn't be moving like a crack-head on mushrooms, that would promote my stomach to feel even worse.

Did anyone see this month's dj mag (the brit edition)? There's a pic taken of Peter Hook to promote his "tour", mid shape/gurn throw looking just as crap!
