| Jus dooooooooooooooooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! lol I'm shy as hell...it's getting over that one step that is the problem for me, once I start talking I can't shuddup. But that first part is hell. It's wierd, it's not even that I worry about the consequences of what happens because I could care less, it's more about the approach that I have trouble with. Oh well. If the only way to get over this is to just keep going headlong into the frey then I'll do that...:D |

I was like that too let's say, about 2 years ago...
Then one day I painted my hair WHITE (don't ask me why...) and my self confidence against girls grew alot!!
Doing this makes you feel like beeing a clown at the beginning. But later you will notice that it is much better being some sort of clown, because the female eyes are much more focussed at you then before!!
This gives you a boost of self-confidence. Being a clown or not!!
So I think my conclusion should be:
Be noticed!!!

Im really shy with people i dont know very well :o Especially if its a really cute girl, :o i dunno.

| u just have to overcome your insecurities whatever they may be cuz that's what being shy really boils down to. dont use drugs to unleash yourself because then u will depend on them all the time and that is just retarded if u ask me...get to the root of your insecurities and realize that these "cuties" u want to talk to aren't so perfect themselves so there is nothing to be intimidated by...i agree with swamper the most u will just kick urself later for never doing anything or talking to a cute girl for example...just say it...what have u got to lose? ;) |

I put my hair into dreadlocks. Once you go around thinking everyone who sees you thinks you are weird anyways, you have nothing to lose, and I cant believe how many chicks came up to me to talk about my hair lol. I guess I was one of the girls at that point or something...O_o ha, but at that point they were coming to me, which was cool. also, work out. I dont have dreads any more, but I do work out, and even though most people dont know where I am at working out, I still feel really confident. If you dont value yourself, no one will cuz theyll see that in you. You gotta think you da SHE IT!
*side note: after a while you turn into a pompous ass, but I have noticed that girls like guys who treat them like until they are about 25 years old, so its all good. Being a gentleman doesnt work, oh they all think you are a really swell guy, but they wouldnt date you because you would pay too much attention to them, and theyll think you value them , and they wont have to fight for every last scrap of decency you give them...sigh. but im not bitter. When Im 25 hopefully all the good looking girls wont be married to pricks :| |

OMG, so true...I'm still kicking myself for passing up an oppurtunity to chatting up a cutie on the bus. We made eye contact and she gave a light smirk...but what did I do?!?!?

| orbax u are definately wrong about girls liking guys who treat them like ...well u are right but u wont end up w/ a quality girl...cuz only the shallow insecure ones like those kind of guys...it's nice for a guy to have some confidence but when he is just overly confident and obnoxious it's the biggest turn off imo.... |
