I'm glad to see Webster Hall coming into its own as a viable venue. It definitely has the setup for it!

Can someone please explain why the u would have a DJ booth structured in between the cieling and the floor ? Wait, maybe they did it so that Big Mike wouldnt run up onto that . They know what he does at all the other venues. ROTFL BWAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAA. :p :stongue:

yeah u see THAT ladder? well it DOES keep randoms from climbing into the booth. i kept seeing Pete climb up that ladder, and then practically crawl up to a standing position up there. madd funny. im glad they let him in with his camera.

I just got up with a terrible hangover from a great night yesterday :) Even though last night is kind of blurry (ing alcohol :whip: ) I had SOOO MUCH FUN!
So, I got there around 11:30 and the girl on the door thought that my ID is fake and reported me to the police. I almost started fighting with them to prove that my ID is real (its a CT non-drivers licence). Then, after coming back to the line the girl told me that its a special night and the comp b4 midnight wont work, which pissed me alot. However, as Eco said, paying $20 for event like this is nothing.
I was really surprised by WH, especially after the bad "warnings." The dj set-up was great, even thogugh I would like to see the dj closer to the people. Great lighting and laser :0 Thats always a big + for me :tongue3
John Askew was great. I have not seen him b4, so I realized why he was added to the lineup. CG rocked the club completely, I was going crazy during teh set, jumping around, trying to dance and apparently "PICKING girls up and swinging them around" (phoenixBEBE- -> I dont remember this :crazy: ).
I left after seeing j00f briefly. My friends & gfriend were exhausted and wanted to leave (actually I was dead tired, too!)
I am soo glad that I meet sooo many TAs :) The party without all of
you would have much less fun! I took LOTS of pics and videos! I am going to upload them later and share them with you later!
Anyways, I would say this was the best event this summer! SUCH a great night, even though I wish I was little bit more souber :crazy:

eheh glad u had fun. yea u were DEF crunked but u were DEF having FUN. hehe. meh whats a lil bit of 'memory loss' during the night? as long as it was safe fun and a night to remember!!
and sorry about what u experienced with ur ID. i would have SOO thrown a sh*t fit right at the door if that had happened to me. half the time my NYS drivers license DOESNT even SCAN when first put into the scanning machine. so i think it may eventually HAPPEN. :mad:

I am so glad Askew did not start off with a boring set. He got right in to bringing the house down, and working the crowd's energy, which again, surprised me greatly! I think he was shocked too!
CG, well what can you say...they are funny bastards! Really had awesome crowd interaction, and just threw down a set with such great vibe. Finally heard "Urban Train" live, which you got to love.
John 00 the man Fleming STILL had the ing party going past 3:30, and then he gets on the mic to apologize for bad mixing. I was like aww, and wanted to run up that ladder to give him a hug! :)
Great meeting you gals, and euphoria, sorry to ruin you and phoenix's pic by being in the background laughing! But let me explain, there was one dude that just ing STOOD there, like a statue, and I could not help from cracking up!
Yes, I loved seeing you GUYS too (Mike, Rob, Stan, Marcello and my Tom) who always love protecting me from nasty dudes! Love yas!

Just woke up now, and just wanna say that was probably the most fun i've had so far this year. Great opening set from John Askew, hope to see him around NYC more often. Cosmic Gate was great, i was just hoping to hear some more older stuff. When they played their remix of urban train and then i heard them mix in Fire Wire, i thought they were gunna end their set on a couple of older tracks but it turns out those were the only 2 :( . J00F's mixing sounded a little off for the 30 minutes or so i was there for but then i had to leave cuz my feet were killing me and i had been up and working since 7 am. All in all a great night, hope the rest of this summer can match it.
