omg TRUST me, i wanted to dance nonstop the whole way...but durign these times the floor was SOO crowded and there was either some nasty sweaty ppl around me or zombies that just stood in one place so i was getting annoyed. luckily taking these videos served as a distraction to maintain my mood :) |

| I think the monitors burst or something cos he kept pointing at them at certain points and motioning to the sound guy that he couldn't here, to which the sound guy would move the speaker a little bit like an inch away... Maybe the wires were going bad... dunno... I've heard nothing but top notch mixing from him in the past so it HAD to be a monitor problem, I saw him struggling every couple minutes. |

i was so tired and but i had to stay for my boys Nic and Bossi..they ing killed it..these guys are my favorite next to Armin..they started it all for me with the hard trance scene and they are still doing it today..AMAZING..and this is the 2nd time ive done an awesome tracklist for CG..i would love to see Made book them with SVD or Rank1 or anyone!

The lighting really killed it for me, the room was almost completely dark the majority of the time with little lights bouncing around here and there. The visuals were a nice touch but nothing to write home about.
After going almost exclusively to Crobar that go all out on the special effects when trance Djs come,this was highly disappointing. Sitting in the dark listening to trance just doesnt cut it.
The performers were cool though, i thought those were a great touch, but unfortunately those were the highlights of the night.
As for the music, i heard some cool tunes from Askew and CG, but i felt they were dropping way to many mellow vocal tracks. |

Last night was definitely good times (minus me breaking my cellphone)...like Gjorgji I would have preferred to have had maybe two less drinks but oh well I didn't. All three sets were ridiculous :eyes: although J00F's set seriously kicked my ass. I sat down a lot because my feet hurt so much from dancing but even sitting down I couldn't stop moving :).
Great seeing everyone out and a huge thank you to the breakfast crew. There is nothing like food after an evening out...

The dj booth was giving me neck cramps! Horrible fuking set up. I like when DJ's interract with the crowd but it's kinda hard when we must look like ants to them
The sound in the main dance floor is HORRIBLE! omg it's not a full sound.. just HIGHS. You can always tell when a dj is mixing in a new track cuz it's such a damn shock! Woah! The sound is better upstairs where you are BEHIND the speakers. :lol:

OMG WHAT A BLAST!
Askew kicked ass. He played a couple songs that i def need to know the ID's! He transitioned his set so perfectly! Got there at 11:15 and he was playing nice groovy trance and then from 11:50 on it was just madness!! That Space We Are Mash up is fuking ridiculous.
Cosmic Gate was fun too. They had alot of energy. To bad they were so far up.

Heard JooF for about 30 mins before we left.
But webster is a pretty nice venue if they can fix up the setting and sound it would be GREAT!

| I appreciate what the promoter was able to do to remedy the list situation but I really wish that Webster Hall made it clear beforehand that the comp list wouldn't work for last night's event. I have no problem paying $25 or whatever for a ticket, but I do have a problem with advertising one thing and not following through. Though the list was not their own it really makes Webster Hall look bad and they knew about the list beforehand and said nothing. I mean I pretty much got in for free but that's my $0.02 on the matter. |

+1. Also, half of my friends didnt want to pay $20.. If you make a guest list either fulfill your promise or notify the people that it will not (might not) work. I think this is also a big - for ClubPlanet's lists. |

As Alyssa mentioned, I did try to make it in to WH late last night. I took a cab straight from Cielo shortly after Freeland's set ended but when I arrived they were just closing off entry to the place. doh! :(
Looks like you guys had the only good time though! :D The pics remind me of how much fun some of these big events are. Guess I'll have to catch one down the line. I'll see you guys in RI in a few weeks!

I still don't really get what the deal is with pricing. An event like Labour of Love '06 which featured 30+ DJs including big names like Armin, Ferry, and Digweed cost $65, so what warrants paying $50 for one or two DJs :conf: . |
