I wasn't there very long, so i don't have much to say, but that visual screen in front of the room was SICKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!! Although i agree that the DJ setup was weird, perhaps they should put the booth on the front of the stage where that nasty dude with the snake tattoo was playing with fire.
Oh yeah....the general vibe reminded me of clubbing back in the day. I haven't seen so many people glow sticking and doing bumps in the open in such a long time. |

My review: at the entrance. I have no prob AT ALL paying, but the dude sat there and LIED to wai, saying that he was "just on clubplanet today and there was no mention of free admission before 12." Wai responds by saying: "My NYU computer room is a block away and I can go print that if you want" Guy:" Uhhhh how about I give you drink tickets and $10 admission." lol :haha: :haha: Wai laying it down like whoa. He kept saying it was expensive to brng germans here. Yeah, I get that, and thats fine but WH needs to abide by lists or not have them at all. great venue tho, I loved the dancers, reminded me of back in the day at guv. GOD my ears hurt tho!! :( :( holf FAK!! :( :(
DJ's All of em were sick. I was a dancing fool, and I also had one of my more drunker nights, it was fantastic. Gjorji was outta control, and I loved that the entire place was blasted at the same time. Big drunk fest!! (rob: Shut up!! SHUT UP!!!!") :haha: :haha:

***JOOF: LOFL at his announcements!! I fully expected him to get on the mic and be like "Oh BLOODY HELL!!!!" :haha: :haha: :haha: LOVED his set but my feet HURT like a mutha the last half hour. :( The guy was ALL smiles and I love when a DJ is having fun!!
many many funny moments: including me getting choked up, wai falling on her ass TWICE (dude the whole place was PLASTERED), Gjorgi...well...everything was funny with him......Rob yelling at people for interrupting his trance.....and molly is just always funny.....tons more, I will fill in lata, and as the night comes back to me. Great seeing everyone out. :) :)

WTF, damn thats pretty messed up. Im sure the door price was still better than the advanced tix price anyways so its good in that sense. But personally, WH. There will be some really good events this yr, most outdoor parties in Central Park, ps1, etc that will be good and worth checking out. Sometimes a nice cold beer at 4 PM outside is better than the filthy, grimeyness of nasty clubgoers that u gotta put up with when going to clubs nowadays. (Last time I was at Calderone soem guy puked right next to me and some got onto my shirt.) Now, its like wtf, why am I even bothering dealing with this non-sense(one of the many diff things u have to deal with when going to clubs today) ?? |

advanced tix price was $20 so it amounted to the same in the end...but yeah no one hates not being able to rely on guestlists etc (isnt that FALSE advertising). jesus christ, this isnt the first time this has happened with CP and WH or some other venue. the guestlist even HAD it written on the confirmation - Imagine Fridays/Cosmic Gate. wtf :wtf:

yeah ive had enough of sweaty ppl sweating on me, falling on me (im tiny so i get knocked over easily :( ) someone couldnt hold in their puke early on in the night, so that was on the floor and it smelled and it was NASTY. also ppl forgot to take showers and drew was grimacing ALL night. haha :toothless :whip: as soon as i saw the FIRST shirt come off a nasty sweaty body, i screamed and ran away.
also dumb bartender chick on the outside of the main room...she kept forgetting whose change was whose and really hard to get the attention of even tho hardly any patrons were there...She was pouring me a Red Bull in a cup, got DISTRACTED cuz someone ended up talking to her, and spilled HALF that on the table. I was like, "HEY!!!!" (while smirking - Idiot.) There were three workers behind the bar but she was the only actively taking orders from ppl so cant really blame her I suppose. but seriously hardly anyone was at the bar in that area so serving 3 ppl at a time...well thats not even remotely stressful imo so i dunno. |
